"In April 2015, The Old Mill Killearn bar and restaurant re-opened under the new ownership of Mark & Alice Silverwood…Since taking over Mark & Alice have given the Old Mill a new identity, keeping it’s rustic charm but also adding some modern touches. What a beautiful place! We find it on the way home. Good atmosphere there, staff very friendly. Food amazing, homemade pizza very tasty, kids menu available. Definitely will come back here.
If you're in killearn or anywhere near loch Lomond and haven't gone to this place you're doing yourself a disservice. - Make sure you ring up on time. - there is parking inside - outside sitting area -pub atmosphere on the front, restaurant on the back feeling totally separate. -child friendly I found myself giving yet another 5 starts. The service is just so good. Went out there way to get us something that wasn't on the menu on its own because we wanted to try it, the staff were super attentive and then you have the food. Genuine good food and then you get your bill and you have to look at it twice because food that good can't possibly be that well priced. Go here, you won't regret it.
Amazing food. Superb atmosphere. I visited a while ago with my dad and had one of the best meals we've ever had. Everything was packed full of flavour. The chef even adapted items from the menu to suit my dietary requirements gluten and dairy, he even knocked me up a sauce especially! Incredible experience in a beautiful village. We really hope to return one day

Cozy and comfortable place heated by the chymney making you feel like home. The staff is friendly and polite and even if we waited moderately for the food to be ready, it was good and enjoyable.
Lovely cosy winter's day lunch. Open fire, excellent soup and sandwiches as well as great Cullen Skink.
One of the party of 3 had a disappointing main course. Rest had an enjoyable meal. There are electrical problems with a strobing light system in the rear of the dining area. We were sorry about this as this was very different from previous times
Picked out the pub at random on Google maps. Rocked up to a friendly face who was very accomodating. The food was rediculiously good and I am sat thinking why have I not found this place before and why isn't this place spread like wildfire !? Food was on point, of high quality and extremely tasty. The gardens were lovely to sit out in if your lucky enough to come on a good day. Will deffo be back again.
Came here for the first time on my birthday, all the way from Australia, and can safely say that it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! Food and ambience gets top marks. I’m just sad that I’m not a local so I could come back here frequently!
We ate in the yurt at the back of the pub and it was gorgeous. Food was exceptional, staff were super friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely evening, will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.
