Walking distance from home, the food is excellent, most portions are on the large side and I think it's terrific value. Filet steak sandwich on the lunch menu is just about perfect. Staff are friendly but the service can be a little slow for my liking - occasionally really unacceptably slow even when not busy - otherwise it would have been an easy 5 stars. UPDATE July 2016, the food is still great as are the prices but the service has been so slow during the past few visits it has ruined the meal. I've recommended this place to lots of people in the past but now I've decided not to go back, shame because it was good while it lasted. I should add that a few of the staff are terrific & very hard working, others seem to be rather absent minded, don't take it for granted that your order is coming. Was 4-stars, now only 2, sorry. UPDATE Jan 2018, Apparently it has changed hands, I've been told the food isn't as good while the service still the same - shame.
