Just returned from a very tasty Sunday lunch and pudding. The waiter was most attentive and friendly. A wonderful experience all round on such a cold n wet day. Myself and my two friends from London loved it. Never eaten there before but will go back again. Thank you

Quaint and quirky family hotel. Interesting layout and views. Easy access to road network but surprisingly NOT disturbed by traffic sounds. Fantastic breakfast choices! Nice bedroom and bathroom 😀

I have visited this pub/hotel on various occasions over the last 10 years. Last week both my husband and I were pleased with our meals. The present menu has a number of very good choices and we will be returning. In the past we have experienced some very disappointing meals. I think it depends on the menu for the season and the chef. The Conningsbrook is set in its own grounds, has plenty of parking and the restaurant can provide for large groups and individuals.

We were here for our cricket club's end of season dinner and awards. The food.was beautiful and displayed nicely, the staff were friendly and had good banter with us, which made it feel much more relaxed and like we could ask for things or question them. I'm marking down as 4 star as the bar closed very early and we were told this was to do with a staff member and stock. So unfortunately that was the only thing to bring down the evening. Good thing we won plenty of booze in the raffle, We didn't need to bar to be open, but they did lose quite a bit from people wanting to spend money but not being able to.

Lovely open garden for children to run and have fun. Recent rejuvenation of the play castle is fab!
