I went to it a few times before it got new ownership and it was possibly the worst pub I have ever been in. the new ownership turned that totally around its a really nice place to go with friends now, drinks are a bit expensive and many are ones I have never tried but if its on tap they will usually give you a small taster in a little glass! I like to do this because its so much better to find a drink you really like than just go with something picked kinda at random especially if you plan on having a few. I also attended a quiz night there once and it was pretty fun.

First time I have been in here since its been done up.football was on but I like watching it so not a problem.Roast was delicious but could have a couple more potatoes with it for the price it was.My only problem was it is dog friendly Fine as I love dogs but not when your eating your dinner & they are laying on seats which other people will sit on after them.should have a dedicated area the pub is big enough.Will go back but will be asking to seat on a none hairy seat.🖒🖒

Love this bar! Great vibe. Warm and inviting. Went there with the kids today and pizza was great !! Kids loved their margherita and I originally fancied the bad dog pizza but the very persuasive barman talked me into the brand new pizza chilli dog. I was not let down. Will be back very soon and bring friends along with me.

What a makeover! Such a great pub, great beer, lovely outdoor, pool, darts, bit of sport, amaaaazing pizza and oh my lord... Now they do roasts!!!!!
