This restaurant is so well located, just in front of the beautiful marina. Initially we seated in their fantastic terrace but we had to move inside as the day was very windy. The ambience is very cozy and pleasant. The food and drinks were amazing and the staff very friendly. Would love to go back in my next visit to the town!
The wife and I really enjoyed our two visits here. The first visit was for drinks and the second for food. In a nutshell, both occasions were excellent and we genuinely couldn't find fault with anything. The staff in particular were exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. It's also in a convenient pedestrianised central location ideal for people watching or a visit whilst exploring the harbour. It was very busy on both visits we went and booking would be advisable.
Went last night lovely restaurant lovely food, my partner said they were best muscles she ever had plenty of Muscles, and sauce equal. I had the gourmet burger was lovely. After 9pm the band came on two local musicians one was playing the Saxophone, the other was playing the guitar. Was nice ambience and relaxing elegant vibe.Food: 5/5
Lovely staffs. Amazing mussels from just outside of the sea and yummy scallops. Nice fish comes with the head, the staff take care of it if you want to remove it, not salty. Homemade mushy peas and new potatoes were melting in our mouth ; many local ciders and beers are available.
Had a late lunch here, it’s right on the harbour side with plenty of outside seating and tables plus enough sun umbrellas to keep most of the seagulls at a reasonable distance. We had the ploughman’s ham, cheddar, Brie plus etc. and the Moroccan chicken with mango and very good cuscus. If I was to change anything it would only be to replace the toasted sourdough on the ploughman’s to a 1/4 cottage loaf Portion sizes were very good, quantity excellent with good service. Will be back!
Lovely food and a great vibe particularly for a rainy Wednesday. We were served by Chloe name in the receipt who was so lovely and chatty, and clearly cared about working here. We’re only down the road in Exeter, but will definitely be back! The food was great as well - huge plaice photo doesn’t do it justice, and was all really affordable. 5/5 great!
Great location to people watch. We only stopped for a coffee and they gave our dogs a water bowl as it was a hot sunny day. Friendly staff and nice coffees. Will have to come back and try the food when next visit Torquay.
Ok food. We had a sandwich each and chips. A pint and orange juice and it came to £33.20.wow very expensive. 3 stars on the food because it was ok. Great view of the harbour so I suppose that's why its that price Judge for yourself.
Must try the fish and chips, never had anything like it! Good service and delicious food. Definitely recommend!
Very nice evening! Great location, be prepared to wait for your food on a Friday or Saturday evening. They get very busy!!!! Live music was really nice. Nice food but don't bother to order seafood platter-it is quite expensive for what you get ...and it is not tasty! We left most of what it was served. Very nice scallops!
