A chance encounter in the local pub with the owner led to us booking a table here and we were not disappointed! What a charming, relaxing and attentive restaurant. We had an exceptionally delicious meal with great service and good wine. Thoroughly recommend Parking: On street parking outside Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options

Enjoyed a fabulous dining experience - great food and absolutely amazing staff. Quite unique and so refreshingly different to the run of the mill restaurants you may visit. Wish we were here longer to visit again but we go home tomorrow Parking: Easy parking on the street outside the restaurant

Found this place by exploring the area on Google maps and seeing the rave reviews. This place lived up to the hype! Lovely little place, a 20 minute walk from where we were staying Babbacombe. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive.

This place deserves all the great reviews that it has already received. We had a superb meal here. The food could not be faulted and it was some of the best cooking we have ever tasted. The two front of house ladies were both friendly and knowledgeable and were very professional. Worth a visit here if you are in the area or live a hundred miles away. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy.

Excellent bistro great food, warm and friendly staff, we had a nice relaxed meal without being hurried along. The place is a real gem, totally agree with all the really good reviews, booking essential, restaurant was full the evening we went tables nicely spaced out. Looking forward to going again

Stunning - better than some of the so called fine dining restaurants. The food was fabulous, the staff very attentive and friendly and well worth a visit. I don’t see how any one can be disappointed, I only wish they’d expand.

A warm welcome in pleasant surroundings with interesting pictures, decor & quite a few Ducks. The food was very tasty with adequate portions. There was a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was competitively priced. I would definitely dine at the Waddling Duck again! ExcellentFood: 5/5

I booked for Sunday lunch as it was my sons birthday today at this lovely Bistro and most definitely we will be going back again we would highly recommend the food and the service was also excellent!! The bistro had such a friendly atmosphere we just loved it see you again soon

Highly recommended! The restaurant is small and cute, the staff are very friendly, the service quick, and the food absolutely delicious! The cod was the best fish we had eaten in years.
