Spend time with us for great pub food in a place you'll love. We serve classic dishes with a modern twist - it's the perfect place to get together with familly and friends. Built on the grounds of the old hospital, the Cheadle Royal is perfectly placed near to the Trafford Centre, Manchester Airport and John Lewis Cheadle. Our varied menu of classic dishes has something for everybody, from fish and chips and burgers, to tasty roast dinners. Lovely place and lovely staff. Large variety of dishes. The restaurant is located in an accesible and beautiful place, worth taking a walk around after a copious meal. I strongly recommend the visit.

Came here today looking for a breakfast. Unfortunately we had missed the last serving, the manager Mark arranged it with the kitchen staff to have what we wanted. Reese the chef was very happy to cook from what we had chosen. It is Abbey's first week and Emma and the rest of the staff are very friendly. Would recommend to my friends.

Provided breakfast for a Premier Inn overnight stay. All you can eat breakfast reasonably priced. Offer a selection of 'British' continental breakfast items Yoghurt, cereal, toast, pancakes and pastries i.e. no fresh meat or cheese like offered abroad. Not needed but with an all you can eat Cooked breakfast made to order.

Absolutely shocking service. We booked a table for 7 o’clock to make sure we had a table but it wasn’t very busy, in fact it was relatively empty by the time we sat down. It took them 35 mins to even come and take the order for drinks, never mind mains, in which we were ready to get up and go get somebody. After we ordered, 20 minutes passed and there was no signs of drinks. We then went up to the manager, Hannah and she said she would prepare the drinks straight away. Then another 20 minutes passed, by this time we had been in the restaurant 1 hour and 10 mins with no food and drink. The worst fact is the time we had wasted, in which we came there to celebrate the belated birthday of our daughter. It wasn’t busy at all and by the time we had left nobody was in. This has happened one year ago, the last time we came here and it’s happened again. When leaving, the manager didn’t even acknowledge us or recognise that she hadn’t given us any drinks or food. She offered us 40% off our next meal and no explanation of what had actually happened but blamed it on the staff being currently trained. Still doesn’t explain why we were sat waiting one hour ten minutes with not even a drink when she said she would bring us them. Would avoid this place at all costs and definitely will not be visiting again. Would give it no * if I could. Appalling service and appalling explanation from the manager with no assurance that our meals had been cooked, merely that we had been forgotten about.

Sorry to have to say not a busy night but had to watch customers get seated after us and then place their order before us. Usually this place is buzzing and up to scratch hope this is just a blip and not new staff not knowing.
