Absolute joke. I went to Oak Car Sales to look at a Fiat Punto in February. When I arrived the car was waiting and was told “the car is perfect, runs a dream”. I bought the car a few days later and just before I set off, I was told “oh yeah, there’s a little knocking on the front left”, not thinking of any of this as I had just bought my first car, I drove home. When I bought the car it had a ‘Full 12 months MOT’ with a certificate to prove it. On the drive home I went to clean the wind screen and there was no screen wash or water in the tank this is one of many things required to pass an MOT. A few days later, I went to add some screen wash and realised the bonnet cable was seized...How can an MOT be done without opening the bonnet? This is dodgy so I rang back and the bloke insisted it was working when I left the garage and it was the snow which had frozen it. I took it to my mechanic and asked about it and he advised I get back in touch with the salesman and tell him it needs fixing as a bonnet does not seize like that in a couple of days. The bloke was not interested at all. £140 later the bonnet has now been fixed. A few weeks later another problem, all the electrics are not working the battery drains flat on its own and the car won’t start. What an absolute joke of a company. STAY WELL AWAY!
