Dealt with these guys recently when looking at buying a used land Rover, both the partners Simon and Scott were very professional and helpful. Not a fly by night business they are working hard to ensure customers are well looked after and happy. Definitely recommend anyone give these guys a try/pop over, all the stock looked lovely and if the service is half as good as I had you won't go far wrong!
What can I say. ! Simon & Scott outdid themselves for me. After initally being let down on a car for me through no fault of their own, i was almost ready to give up looking for a new car. But Simon picked what is literally the perfect car me. Not only that, he managed to sort me a great deal on the finance too. I've worked in customer service and people are far too quick too complain but too slow to give praise were its due. And their customer service is genuinely first class. Yes buying a new car is a scary process, but i promise you, these two lads make it pain & stress free. Five stars does not do them justice. Simon & Scott if you are reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart i'm over the moon with the car.
AVOID AVOID AVOID Brought a car yesterday, was not even offered a test drive on the car now we know why! Called 10mins after we left to say there are issues with the car and engine light was on and told it was nothing major just the co2 and was advised to drive back to derby and if any issues call back. Then broke down on motorway and rang and spoke to Simon who did not offer no help. Finally after nearly 45minutes the car started working again with the engine light still on. We drove the car just wanted to get home then when tried going out in the car later on guess what the car does not start at all. The car was on sale for £1995 he first offered to knock it down to £1700 and we declined this offer then he randomly messaged us saying £1500. He says he knocked £500 off the price if we came to collect the car same day, now he is saying £500 was knocked off due to it being a 'trade sale' and now he has also stated on my partners review that £500 was taken off due to if the car had any issues. Very inconsistant and not sure if its just me but if someone said to me ill give u £500 off a car due to any issues u might have i would of said no thanks. The car was listed on ebay as 'perfect condition' have all screenshots of the listing and the messages between us both and its a different story everytime we speak to them. Rang today to speak to Simon and he is 'busy' so spoke to scott and has informed us we apparently have no rights what so ever and theres nothing he can do apart from maybe a good will gesture depending on what is wrong with the car but no refund is avaliable or willing to fix any issues wrong with the vechile even if we towed the car back to them they are not willing to accept it back as they know there is many issues wrong with the car and now they've got it off their hands no longer intrested. Also at the same time making out we are lying about the car not working?? Unsure what we have to gain and the hassle we are currently going through for us to lie.. Its a shame, we brought from a garage as we thought they would be more reliable and trustworthy then a private seller but clealy not! No matter how old a car is or how many miles if its listed with nothing wrong with it there should be nothing wrong with it.
I bought a car back in August from Scott and Simon! Great lads who offer great customer service and look after you and your needs. The car runs great and I have had no issues. It can be difficult to know where to buy a car from but I can only recommend the team at My Motors!
These two jokers are crooks and cowboys - stay well away from them. I bought a 2002 Porsche Boxter S from them in November 2017 for £10,995.00. Took it next day to my local Porsche specialist I have used since the early 1980's and asked them for a full check on it. I got a 3 page report from them to say it was a banger, far too dangerous to drive and could cost me £20K to get it put right. So I've parked it on my drive since then. I sent the report to Simon who shrugged it all off and refused to give me a refund. I've employed a solicitor who sent them a letter warning them of court proceedings - but still no reply yet - however I'm prepared to take it all the way. Simon's private registration plate is still on the car and that's S11GFN Si Griffin - he's never even sent a transfer document for the plate. I'm taking all papers to the police tomorrow because the car has too many differences in the paperwork. I'm surprised this 'company' is still trading, they remind me of gangsters. Just check their adverse testimonials on Google and wonder why there's not one testimonial on their website? Don't fall for the 12 month MOT bollocks - an MOT is only a rough evaluation of roadworthiness and doesn't cover things like faulty ignition key, knackered driver's seat mechanism or faulty soft top as happened in my case. These comedians shouldn't be allowed to trade!
Avoid this company at all costs! I bought a 2012 vauxhall astra from them in September 2017. I didn't even get it home before it overheated. I took it back for them to inform me the head gasket had gone, but not to worry as they would repair it for me. A week later I get the car back apparently with the head gasket replaced only for it to overheat and go again 2 weeks later. I took to a reputable garage, to get a non-cowboy 2nd opinion, only to be informed that the head gasket had not been replaced at all, a quuck fix additive had been added to the engine as a temporary gasket fix and verious parts and hoses had been bodged together with insulation tape! Rang and emailed scott at my motors many times and the only time i got a response was once for him to fob me off with a load of rubbish about how the car was fine when I bought it and it wasn't his problem. I have machanics reports and pictures of engine parts to prove this and I'm currently starting court proceedings. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this company that you run swiftly in the opposite direction. Absolutely disgraceful!
DO NOT BUY YA05 YWN which is currently up for sale. The car has a load of problems with it. Now I know where used car dealers get there bad reputation. It took me 6 months and a court order to get my money back for a car they sold me which was not safe to be on the road. Avoid these two con artists at all costs.

MIS SOLD VEHICLES NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE okay am not going to respond to the above message as you clearly know the vehicle has been mis sold.i was asked to take the car to a garage by Scott/Simon which I have done so.then was told to call back. after numerous avoiding tactics and not receiving my call they've answered and ask me not to write comments on there review.which I clearly explained is a freedom of speech. previous to me going to the garage they've asked me to find out the problems but there not willing to give me a full refund but depending what faults occur then they may offer a good will gesture.so I have explained the faults and theres a list the length of my arm the garages own words were "this vehicle is not FIT FOR PURPOSE" "for these problems to be rectified would cost over the value of the car". there reply was there's nothing wrong with the vehicle. implying I was lying so I asked are you trying to discredit me there reply was."what does that mean" well instead of asking me to not go on Google.i think you should go on google and search the word discredit.for your own benefit. I believe the manner of the phone call was distasteful and just basic rude to say the least. and putting the phone down on me plenty of times today. by consumer rights you have to give the company the opportunity to either rectify the problems with vehicle or full refund after 30 days.well it's been 24hours and the only thing my motors are willing to offer after I explained the faults was we can buy the car back for £500 when they know the price I paid was £1500 or they can try sell the car at auction for me. which to me seems like the worst customer service I've ever received.a few more conversations down the line it began to get heated from there side as I mentioned citizen advice.there reply was aggressive." il see you i court I always go court and win" which TELLS ME for a company to go court that much shows there more liable for mis conduct of the selling practice act,and there a liability when it comes to simple transactions like buying and selling. I have screenshots of conversations if you believe what am saying is wrong but I would strictly advise future customers if there is any! to message me am happy to show you the conduct I've received. also the vehicles listed on ebay still so check it out and read description reg is AE51 DDO. Just to let you know..These review will not stop and are going on eBay next as it's my duty to safeguard the consumer from being mis sold like me. You have my details. you can ring me in a better manner without your tone in your voice to discuss the matter.or I will be heading to citizen advice bureau who will pass it on to trading standards who will begin to look into your business/company before you know it. dont hesitate to call me simon/Scott where's your ethics, principles. IT'S A SHAME A REAL BIG SHAME..
brought a car from there yesterday to find there was problems on the car which was not listed in the price. called them back 10 mins aftersale to be fobbed of and told to drive home.if any problems call back. broken down on motorway 30mins after and no humanity was shown.left on motorway was told to deal with it. going to have to start court proceeding .my advuce would be to avoid at all cost.
Poor service, would not recommend. Purchased motor from My motors NW LTD on 21st July 2017 with incorrect mileage. Reported them to Trading standards, Unbelievable they should not even be allowed to trade. SEE YOU AT COURT!!!!!!!!
