I previously wrote a much longer review, but for some reason I can’t see it. It is important to me that the wonderful people at Haywards Heath Nuffield Hospital receive the recognition they so richly deserve.nnThe care I received was truly five-star from start to finish. From my surgeon and the nursing team to reception, housekeeping, catering, and all those working tirelessly behind the scenes, every single person played a part in making the hospital run like a well-oiled machine.nnIn my original review I mentioned many individuals by name. Unfortunately, post-operative brain fog has rather got the better of my memory, so I’m reluctant to try and list them again for fear of missing someone out. What I can say, without exception, is that every member of staff I encountered treated me with kindness, professionalism, compassion, and respect.nnMajor surgery can be a daunting experience, but the warmth, reassurance, and expertise of everyone involved made an enormous difference. I felt safe, listened to, and genuinely cared for throughout my stay.nnTo every member of the Haywards Heath Nuffield team, whether patient-facing or working quietly behind the scene, thank you. Your dedication and commitment do not go unnoticed, and I am deeply grateful for the outstanding care I received.
To Dr Gibbs and the entire nursing crew; Amanda’s, Julian, Josie, Sylvia and Debbie I extent my utmost gratitude to you all.nnAlso to Nurse Abigail during her night shift extended great courtesies by helping me down the floor when I had to come back later in the evening.nnYour services including the kitchen staff and front desk crew made my short stay a fond one.nnIf there’s a 10 star rating, I share with you all.nnGod bless you for all you do as you continue to keep your patients calm, soothe and happy.nnI’ll remember you all for the rest of time and I highly recommend Nuffield Health - Hayward’s Heath to everyone far and near.
Can’t praise this team highly enough. I was an NHS orthopaedic patient under Mr James Gibbs but I was treated like a king and nothing was too much trouble. From the theatre team to the cleaning crew everyone pulled together and did their thing perfectly and with a smile. I felt their attitude and professionalism made a difference to me during my short stay and I genuinely look forward to getting back there again in November, when we do it all again!
Had a laparoscopic surgery performed by Mr Alan James yesterday. I have 3 tiny plasters covering the cuts so no major scars I assume. I also must thank the Anaesthetist who made that side of it so easy by chatting as he prepared the anaesthetic . The care was wonderful thanks to Jacob and Sister Julie. The room was great & warm with en suite facilities & TV. It was more like staying in a hotel. Breakfast and evening meal menus were good but limited for anyone on a low fat low fibre diet. Otherwise food was good.
I had a procedure a couple of months ago under the care of Professor Saul Rajak, and I cannot recommend him or Nuffield Haywards Heath highly enough. From the outset, Professor Rajak showed genuine compassion and care, took the time to really listen, and made me feel completely confident that I was in the best possible hands.nThe whole process was seamless, and I felt incredibly well cared for throughout. Nicola in the bookings team, who organised my procedure, was exceptional in communicating with me. Andrea in pre‑op was very excellent, and the ward receptionists and nurses were all kind, professional, and reassuring. The care I received in theatre was truly exceptional.nOverall, my experience at Nuffield was outstanding. I would highly recommend Professor Rajak and would not hesitate to have a procedure there again.
