Used the one time recently as a guest (member of another Nuffield). The staff were friendly and helpful and it was fairly quiet late evening. But frankly for a tier 1 Nuffield I expected more. Changing rooms are too small and require a padlock for the lockers. Toilets were unpleasant and skin area dirty with hair etc. The gym area itself was ok; it's quite small and feels quite dark and claustrophobic in parts. Equipment seemed reasonable enough for the most part. Didn't use the pool. Basically not worth the £70 odd a month in my view.

Love this place Excellent Customer service, excellent equipment and no riff raff, very clean and hygienic with showers sauna steam room and facilities for children available along side a bar to get a bite to eat and Internet access available. Excellent 5 stars. Thumbs Up!

Too expensive for what they offer. Staff at the reception desk really rude and unfriendly (especially one lady) never say hi or welcome when you come.Very disappointed , looking for new gym.

Attended a Bodycombat class this morning (first class held in studio one) and the floor was disgusting! Full of hair and chunk of dust everywhere! The standards of this gym are dropping day by day!

What an absolute joke, I’m a member of another Nuffield branch outside of London, and it puts this London club to shame. This is one of the most poorly run gyms I’ve ever been to. Firstly for a London club they have no lunchtime classes that a professional could fit into a lunch break. This gym is only interested in the retired, evidently as they shut the pool on a Monday lunch to run an Aqua class!!!!! I’ve never been to a gym that runs a class that attracts predominantly retired clients, at lunchtime!!!! These classes are always in the morning. The changing rooms are always overrun with children, as again they want to shut the pool to make money from swimming lessons. All I hear in the changing room is how unhappy members are with the current management and I’m so glad this is not my local branch.
