I've never done any combat sports in my life and I’ve always thought it's too late to take up any. I was referred to the academy when one of my colleagues said the Academy does Adult Beginner classes for ITF Taekwondo and I should try it out. BEST decision of my life. Instructors and lectures were AMAZING --- It doesn't only teach you drills but it's practical too, loads of time spent doing sparring and self-defense which is very useful. I've won my first Gold in an outside tournament just months after I joined, and I'm about to enter my 3rd tournament in just under 10 months! They've got classes for all ages as well, and most of my colleagues from the class are parents of students from the juniors/lil' warriors class. If you're looking to do martial arts (ITF Taekwondo is pretty similar to Kickboxing -- punches + kicks) for you and/or your kid, this is the best place to go! Highly recommended! Kudos to Mr. De Silva and Mr. Thomas!
