This is the second time I have rented with Northwood and have always found their service and professionalism second to none. The process was quick and hassle free right from the start. Lyndsey Duncan was very efficient and kept me up to date with everything that I needed to know. All the girls and friendly and really helpful, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Northwood to anyone.

***IMPORTANT READ THIS BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS COMPANY***
I rented a house from them that was infested with flees, this was 1 year ago, i basically had to beg to get it fumigated they told me i could go home the same day and all would be well, after a few days the flees were back, i ended up having to throw out around £2800 in clothing, bedding, furniture and upholstery. after the 3rd fumigation the flees were still there.  i had to take some of the dead flees in a baggy when told them i was moving out and would not be paying any further rent for them to accept the matter. all  received back from them was £150 and a few emails demanding outstanding rent. I would never rent from these again and have steered many people away from it, i lost my job as a result of the infestation, not to mention the social impact it had, who wants to be friends with a guy who 1000s of blood drinking house guests, because i could no longer live there and they refused to put me up in a hotel i had to live at my parents. 
I really should take legal action and in hindsight i should have been seeking legal advice while the process was on going.
might i add that in their big book of rules the section to do with infestation says the tenant is responsible for paying for any fumigation after renting the property, unless Northwood accept that it is their fault. now considering they never asked me to pay i would say that is irrefutable evidence that they take 100% of the blame   
I feel cheated out of money, and I'm shocked that 1 star is the lowest i can give.  if anybody from Northwood Carlisle reads this i will be willing to discuss a full refund of all monies you received from me and compensation for the damaged items.

I live overseas, but have used Northwood Carlisle to Sell and rent my property.  The service they provide is exemplary and very reassuring for someone living outside the UK  The staff are responsive, helpful , cheerful and professional.  When I first rented the present property they compiled  a comprehensive inventory and took over 200 photos.   Regular inspections are carried out with detailed reports.  When problems occur they have reacted swiftly and effectively.  They well deserve their 5* rating and accolade of Carlisle's Premier Estate Agents.  My thanks to all staff , especially Laura, for your patience and excellent support.

I have used Northwood's landlord services for several years and have always found the staff to be very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They have found me some excellent tenants and have managed my properties in a very professional manner.
