Very comfortable accommodation and very attentive staff. Keith and his team made me and my young baby extremely welcome. The whole building is cosy and warm, with quiet rooms, a large comfy bed, hot drink facilities in the room, and delicious breakfast and dinner options. Pan fried venison one night, haggis burger the next. Yum! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed one night in October. Newly refurbished with clean modern rooms. There's a varied menu with classics such as fish and chips and burgers etc along with more interesting dishes from locally sourced produce. The food is not bad and comes in good portion sizes. The only criticism is that the menu could definitely do with a few more vegetarian options. The bar sells a variety of local beers and spirits. In general prices for rooms, food and drink are reasonable if a tad on the expensive side at the bar. Staff were friendly and keen to help. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed a night in the midst of a rare snowstorm and the staff who made it in did everything perfectly. Building is newly rebuilt so everything sparkles. Best eggs and toast we’ve had in Scotland. Highly recommended.

Exceptional, My family and I stayed at the Nothern Sands Hotel on Saturday the 7/4/2018 for one night while doing the Scottish 500 route. This Hotel is really lovely, it's modernly decorated to a very nice taste with a lovely warm charm to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and very smiley I must add. Keith the General Manager is a pleasant fellow and was very easy to talk with. The Food, We have two fussy teenagers as well as my wife and I who enjoyed a beautiful meal, the menu was of a very good standard and the food cooked to perfection, hats off to the shef. For a family of four the price was well below our usual cost. The family room with adjoining kids room was beautiful with its light elegant Tartan furnishings, very cool. Our room was cosy and warm with a huge bed and two singles for the kids in the adjoining room with their own separate bathroom. This Hotel is really really good, Top marks Keith keep up the high standards. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. S & T Lumsden,
