Welcoming on arrival. Food was good overall, with the dessert being particularly nice. There was a varied gluten free menu with some lovely quality meals, including fish and chips and local beef. Slightly on the expensive side but to be somewhat expected for the area and time of year.

Great location by the Castle of Mey. Wonderful local staff. Felt historic but kept up very well. Decent beer, great food, and good amenities in the rooms (A+ bathroom).

What a dreadful place. We were there last week, and the staff were somewhere between unhelpful and aggressive. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and would advise travellers to drive straight past. Avoid!

Very relaxed and welcoming. Great food- better than the average pub offering. Rooms very cosy and warm with comfortable beds and good showers. No draught beer but a good selection of bottles.
