Had a blinder of an evening for my wedding reception on Friday, Danny and his crew pulled off a great evening with food and drinks. We were 75 odd guests and it all went very well. This pub has undergone some good renovation work and is now a place you feel really welcome and safe in around Kilburn. Well worth a visit and a meal. Thank you all!
We had a wonderful experience at the The North London Tavern 2 weeks ago. We didn't want to leave!! The dads in the group got to enjoy their key sporting events on the big TV while we ate, chatted, and played in the lovely styled pub. It has evidently been refurbished and has a lovely feel about it. After dessert, I even took the wee boys out for some football at a park 5 min away so the rest of the adults could relax and sip away at their drinks from the bar . Paul was especially helpful. His kindness from the moment I spoke to him on the phone gave us all a feeling of calmness and care. We had a great chillout! P.s. MUST try the Sticky Toffe Pudding and ice cream. All food great value! Kid-friendliness: Good children's menu. Felt relax.to have them playing their games and colouring in at the big dining table they reserved for us. Even when we called to say we were delayed kid related, Paul was so kind and reassuring.
The pub does have atmosphere, that’s a given… But the food was very very sad. The fish and chips I would give a 2 out of 10, the flat iron steak is not worth the money, nor worth the experience and I feel sorry for the cow. The bearnaise sauce tasted like it had been watered down with cream. Even the mustard and tartare sauce were weak.
Fantastic place, I don't normally leave reviews, but the service and food were great tonight. I really enjoyed my time there, the staff treated me and my two children really well. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Bravo all around!Food: 5/5
Really nice pub, love the skylight feature - really pretty. Had two roast beef dinners- really well cooked, great Yorkshire and gravy, meat nice and tender. Veg cooked perfectly. Host and bar staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
Came here for the first time with my friends from another country - wanted them to try the pub culture with the beers and food! And everything was amazing! The food was fresh and delicious. The halloumi was all of our favourite . The prices were good too. The champions league match was on at the same time and the two hours we spent there was worth the time! I’m so happy that my guests experience pub culture to the best. I live a minute away from here will definitely be back. Thank you for the friendly service too!
My dad was visiting from Canada, and I wanted him to have the perfect UK pub experience, and I’m so grateful he did! He enjoyed chatting to Tigerlily, who served us at the bar. She was so quick and attentive with her service, we really appreciated it!Food: 5/5
This pubs been refurbished and it looks and feels great.. The new beers are crafty and great. The food menu is insane. We had the karaage chicken and it was unbelievable. The GM Danny gives you a great welcome and best on the high road!! Vegetarian options: Great vegan/vegetarian offering.
My husband Rob and I just wanted to say a big thank you to Danny and his superb team. We had all of our rehearsals for our plays there and the space we were allocated was really lovely and well maintained. We had lunches every day and they were also of a very good quality. I’d highly recommend the NLT for their warm welcome and very good service. Best wishes Fran
We just had our wedding there, Friday 10th May and enjoyed every minute! We were well cared for from beginning to end. Very attentive , personal and professional service . The whole team was great but in particular Daniel the manager and Luis. We hired the private room . The food was great and everyone had a good time. 24 of us dined and we preselected, karage chicken, crispy squid, battered halloumi, steak, burger, fish and chips and halloumi salad. All of the dishes were tasty and plentiful! Hard to estimate the cost per person as we went from 24 to 75 people. Food was about £30 per person and drinks reasonably priced. We had a fantastic evening , many thanks to everyone. We would highly recommend Lorna
