Not worth the money. The limited choice of dishes available and they are not of any quality in terms of flavour, I appreciate that you are catering to the masses but I have had better off a servery on detachment when they are feeding hundreds in a quick turnaround. The cheese has no flavour, I am struggling to decide if it's supposed to be cheddar or the plastic stuff you see advertised on TV. The pancakes are ok. If you are wondering why I am speaking in the present tense it's because I am sat in the lounge now and we are wondering why we paid £40 each for this when we could have gone to one of the restaurants and eaten a much better meal for less. The staff have been pleasant but I expect that they suffer the brunt of many disappointed customers. Won't be paying for access again.
The venue offers a breathtaking panoramic view of airplanes taking off and landing, along with ample room to roam. Moreover, there is a diverse range of beverages to cater to every taste. The staff is extremely helpful and consistently eager to assist with a friendly demeanor. While the vegetable menu offers numerous choices, there are some limitations with the bread, butter, and jam options. Wheelchair accessibility: there are two elevator access points available for individuals with disabilities.
The lounge is a disappointment. While it's understandable why it's crowded, the staff are not the most friendly you meet, the wait times to get in are crazy and the food selection is very wanting. For a lounge, one would expect at least some decent dining options. That's not the case here. The toilets are also dirty, despite there being a staff member at hand to attend to them. The toilets in the rest of the terminal are better maintained. It's not all negative, though, you get to enjoy very nice views of aircraft taking off and landing.
Upon arrival staff are very attentive, polite and helpful. Easy to enter, especially if prebooked and you’re shown to your seat. Once seated you can have a free glass of prosecco, then you help yourself to a decent variety of hot, cold, salads, sweet treats and drinks, all lovely. Staff clear your plates whenever it’s needed and all very polite. Toilets are well kept and very cleanly stocked with lots of loo roll.
The operators of this lounge clearly overbook capacity to maximise as much profit as possible. We had to queue to get in, then were greeted by a male who insisted we sit at the first table he could see by the entrance. We had no option to choose our own seats. I asked if there was a seat with a window view and was told no, yet when I had a look around I could see several tables that had nobody sat in them however had reserved signs on the tables. I was able to look around and find a better table at the window which we moved ourselves to, so clearly the member of staff could not be bothered to look around and find a suitable seat. Atmosphere: In addition to this the lounge was stifling hot with many people fanning themselves with whatever makeshift fans they could create. Food: What's the cheapest food that you can provide, again to maximise profit? Pasta, potatoes and anything that costs next to nothing. Utilities: They only provide really small plates so you have to take several or keep going back for more. Again clearly a way to limit people taking more food and therefore maximising there profit. Staff: Members of staff clearing dishes could not utilise common sense and asked us if they could clear a plate of 3 croissants as she's was midway through eating one.
It was extremely easy to check in and receive a table. The staff was attentive and the food choices were fantastic. We had an English breakfast with warm foods, as well as a selection of croissants. The bar had coffee, orange juice, and we enjoyed the selection of prosecco and beer. A special shout out to Gilberto who was attentive while cleaning and maintaining our bar area, and who was very friendly to ensure we were having a good stay.
Really basic lounge, not much more than getting a decent seat in the public areas. Lots of kids so felt more like a creche than a lounge.. food and service was ok. Won't rush to come back.Food: 2/5
Great value place, food although super fresh we had breakfast which was basic English breakfast. Fresh pancake maker lifted it to 4 star. Staff efficient and friendly in particular Anna. Drinks...very good selection and no problem getting served. Vegetarian options: Cooked breakfast items ie beans tomato egg hash brown etc
Don't go!!!.if you can avoid it. It is shameful to have such a bad lounge, food was awful,. The stuff.is miserable! Dog.food should taste better. Only beans, one , cheese and celery sticks, on top of that I was treated badly by the bartenders when I ask what choice of beers there was, and he said only one, don't you see? The busiest airport in the world with such a disgraceful lounge. My do.eats better food than that! 0/10 Food: 1/5 Service
First of all, the food is poor, there is not enough animal protein in the menu, and that’s embarrassing considering the high cost of getting into the lounge 60 USD. So, you really need to strength your menu adding meat and chicken! Or maybe your are just reducing costs offering poor options. Secondly, your staff at the front desk is not very helpful with offering practical solutions with technical problems of the Dragon Pass app
