Just had a really great experience with New Kings Road Vintage Guitar Emporium buying a 74 Les Paul Custom. First and foremost, it's a fantastic guitar. Not a case queen by any means but very honestly described. I got exactly what I was expecting - which sadly isn't always the case when you buy online. The thing that really stood out for me was the fantastic customer service from Mo. He really looked after me. I'll definitely pop in to say thanks in person next time I'm in London.
This is the place and people that reminds you how awesome it is to be part of the guitar community. I was restringing my guitar for a gig when I broke my high E string stretching it to tune. I came to the shop with such emergency and I was fortunate to find help empathy and kindness. Today, I was there for a single string. Next time I come will be for my first vintage guitar. Their collection is simply amazing!
Excellent customer service and first class items. Couldn't be happier with my purchase of a Washburn B20 bass, and the support provided throughout a smooth and worry free transaction. Had been looking for a decent example of this bass for almost 35 years, Mo came up with the goods with style. Thank you.

Great vintage guitar shop that has a whole selection of everything you want. Service was excellent and the staff knowledgeable. Got a great deal too and now have the best Tele I've ever owned. Go here, you won't be disappointed.
Absolute pleasure to deal with, super relaxed transaction- felt no pressure to buy, even though I did! Really exceptional stock of guitars and very knowledgeable staff. Silly not to visit if your looking for your dream guitar, even if it's just for advice, highly recommend.
Highly, highly recommended! Rick supplied loads of useful information on my '69 Telecaster which helped me decide to keep the guitar - not sell! Meanwhile Mo gave it a quick once over, tweaking the neck giving it a bit more 'feel'. These are two of the nicest guys I've met in a while. Awesome service, and a great selection of guitars. If you've got a 'reasonable' budget and are looking to buy, you must pay a visit - I shall be, just need to clear it with my wife!
been after a Gibson Hummingbird for years, tried loads in stores from here to California, never found one that I really felt right with, but then they had 3 one quite old, one less so, and one almost mint 2019 and one of them is now at home with me, its the 2019 one ! Nice buying experience and a little discount off the sticker price
The one time I enquired about a Les Paul the staff member was the most obnoxiously smug/arrogant person I’ve ever dealt with in any guitar shop. One day they’ll be humbled.
Absolutely fantastic service, I’ve bought several unique guitars and the service provide by Rick and Mo was amazing! You won’t come across another guitar shop like this anywhere else. 10/10 would definitely recommend! Could not thank you enough!
