We'd seen someone attempting one of the food challenges that this place offers on a YouTube clip and decided we had to give it a try! The menu is great, lots of choice and not just the usual run of the mill dishes. If you like the American diner type place, then you'll love this place. The food was cooked to perfection too, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. Portions were great, we all struggled to finish our meals, which was the only downside as I was looking forward to one of their desserts. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond for us. We had travelled over 50 miles to sample the food and we had got there just after the kitchen had closed after the lunch service. The chef had seen us pull up in the car park and realised we weren't locals and came in from her break and offered to cook our order. We will definitely be making the 100 mile round trip back at some point in the near future. Can highly recommend!
Perfectly decent local pub. Only two real ales but both well kept We stayed a couple of nights, comfortable room. Not ensuite but only three rooms; no-one else was there so that was fine Ate a good substantial burger and the breakfast was very tasty
Standard pub. Visited on a cold day though and it was freezing so we only stayed for one. There was a fire but that was over the other side of the pub.Rooms: 3/5
I've lived in Lancaster for a few years and always driven past this pub but never been in. Finally popped in today as the sign outside said "home of the best burger". You know what? They really are flippin' great burgers! A side of wings as well. Really well seasoned fries. Will definitely be in again for another after I've worked off this one.
Visited as a detour on our way down the motorway. Staff were friendly. Menu looked incredible and I only wish we lived closer to work our way through it! Burgers were amazing and presentation was great!
The food here is amazing, the menu is very limited but I was not disappointed by the quality or the taste of the food. We were served very quickly despite the pub being packed out for a sporting event shown on the TV. Lots of options to drink including some nice choices of fruity ciders. This pub also offers food challenges if you order in advance!
Wonderful dog friendly pub. Great food and very friendly. Looking forward to trying the accommodation.
Pet friendly pub where the owner is very welcoming. Food was amazing and great atmosphere all around, Will definitely be retuning again for food and drinks.
