Nice food and quick service - would have given 5 stars if the entrance didn't smell like urine and there was a very rude member of staff literally screaming at another member of staff who happened to be serving us at the same time - surely a time and a place
Excellent food & was very busy ... always a good sign of a popular dining spot - the floor was a bit slippy though! Would definitely eat here again
Stayed for one night with my husband in Room 7 overlooking Dalton Square. Chose hotel for location and because it always looks so cosy from the outside looking in. Thought the £100 price was decent; particularly as it was b/hols. Full English Breakfast was the best I've had for a long while. Would go back.
The food was excellent, very generous portions and the staff were also friendly. Meals were a little on the pricey side though ranging from £11-25 25 for steak. However the quality matches the price. Interesting old fashioned decor.
Delicious food & fantastic service from a young, friendly waiter. We couldn't have had a more pleasant dinner date in Lancaster! We tried the vegetarian black pudding & calamari for starters and the Lancashire cheese, leek & onion pie and the steak & ale pudding for mains - all of which was suberb!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless the food great evening and am. Staff couldn’t do enough. Thanks again for the great DBB deal.
