How can this bank get any worse. Tried to pay a credit card with cash and was told that they do not have any human cashier tills anymore and you have to use a machine!! Was told that the machine does not give change and I will have to go and get the correct money! I thought that this was a bank!! What has ever happened to good old customer services!!
Unbelievably bad service, one officious lady trying to triage a a group of patient customers. I was with my mother in law who is infirm, we were told we had to wait 1 1/2 hours! This after my mother in law was here the day before and told she had to come back again today. I asked if we could make an appointment but told they don’t appointments. Now told to come back again tomorrow! What a joke!
I really didn't think paying in a small amount to a Business Account would be so difficult. Arrived at bank and questioned by lady on reception who was encourage customers to "Get the App". Told the lady that I needed to make a bank deposit and I was unable to use the deposit machines because the reference number was too long and couldn't be accepted. Joined lengthy queue to pay in over the counter to discover that despite having over 15 people in the queue they only had one cashier on duty and one till open. After paying in I left the bank 50 minutes later. Service simply not good enough. Really deserves a No Star rating but you can't post a review with out a star so have to give it a "ONE"
Had already spoken to the branch in Leigh, wanted to take out a large sum of money, said i needed it for next week, asked about procedure, gave me a scan code so i would be seen more quickly when I came in, scan didn't work so lady booked me in, they called me took details answerd all questions, left me waiting 20 minutes then said they will not let me have my money in cash, so the bank is tell ing me that i cannot have own money, manage did not come out to see me, wasted my time. Will nt be going there again will move to another bank
Absolutely worst bank ever useless service , every excuse in the world not to be able to do anything shut the branch and sack the staff seriously
A disgrace, after an hour setting up an executor account as my mum has recently passed away, then to be advised I will have to obtain a letter from a solicitor to access the funds. The solicitor letter would cost more than the value of the cheques. Had provided will and death certificate clearly stating that I have the legal right to deal with everything. The lady didn't know what she was doing, kept going off for advice. As you can imagine I got upset, left me in a public booth, saying they understood how I felt!!! Asked for the manager, but not available. Will be closing all accounts and never use them again. Disgraceful.
Awful bank in Southend. NatWest has taken on RBS but hardly seems to have hired any new staff to accommodate this. Have to wait nearly half an hour just to be seen. I ordered a new bank card as I believe somebody has been spending on my card. The bank told me to ring the company the money had been spent to myself and refused to launch a fraud investigation. Not only that but when my new bank card did come through had to wait over an hour just to get it from the bank. Ridiculous. Clearly NatWest have no care for customer service anymore and have taken on more than they can handle. Goodbye NatWest/RBS
Making it extremely difficult for people to use paying in services during this time whilst still expecting to take payments out as normal... why cut the hours so drastically? People already queuing outside for more than an 1.5 hours to be told the bank shuts in 10 mins! There must be a better way they can operate services whilst adhering to guidelines! Limiting the hours they are open is making things worse. Add paying in services to the outside accessible cash machines!

Extremely poor customer service, they all seems to come across stressed, annoyed. I even complained to the manager for a poor customer service she simply shrugged it off and tried to justify the poor manner her staff are engaging with the public. I am Seriously considering moving banks.
