Been more than happy with service here previously prior to Halfords take over. I've had the same experience of another reviewer, booked an appointment and still had to wait over an hour before they even took my car into a bay after being told on arrival it should be ready in 40 minutes. They appear to be making bookings that they can't cope with. Poor girl on reception was trying to get more staff from a nearby Halfords workshop to alleviate the workload but she appeared to have been fobbed off by her colleagues. The staff were apologetic and I eventually left 2 hours after arriving, 1 hour and 20 minutes after I should have.
Arranged to have tyre issues sorted at NT as in past they we’re always great so I have been happy to travel a few extra mile to get there. I was given an appointment with a specific time but when I arrived it was clear they had over booked massively and a good few other people had been given the same appointment time as me and the place could not cope. Never like this in past but Halfords now own the business and appear not to care about customer service or covid. Didn’t get job done I won’t be back
Good couple of lads working there, take a bit of pride in their work and did a good job. Showed me a few issues that needed addressing not touting for work.
Excellent staff and service could not do enough
Visited yesterday to have puncture repaired. Excellent service and reasonable price by national chain standards. Staff also excellent, efficient and friendly. Was disappointed to hear it is soon to close after a takeover by Halfords and, I understand, staff there are soon to lose their jobs and be replaced by existing Halfords staff. They don't deserve that after years of serving the motorists of Washington and surrounding areas to a high standard. For the customer, I'd be surprised if prices don't also leap.

Used this place via the "Tyre Shopper" website as a choice of fitting location on a few occasions. Sometimes difficult to get seen to at the reception counter as there is nobody there; they really should invest in a bell or something. Nice location and easy to get to. Staff seem friendly as well and have not had any issues with the workmanship.

Went in with the car making an odd noise when braking & the guys for the fault straight away. Friendly professional service, would definitely recommend...
On arrival there's no- one on the desk.Had to return twice with a puncture after I had diagnosed a nail in the tyre! Doesn't inspire confidence. Poor service all round. Will not be returning.
