Fantastic place to visit and a general all around good year lace to spend a day. The house is very interesting with many excellent rooms and exists. The grounds provide a wonderful walk and dogs are most welcome. The park provides the opportunity to see deer in their natural environment. Also on view is a working kitchen garden.

As this is on our doorstep we come here fairly often. I have to say that this is still one of my favourite National Trust properties. The house is great to visit, the deer park offers lovely walks of varying length and the kids play area is large with lots to do and is improving all the time. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Absolutely fantastic place. Beautiful mansion, wonderful for dog walking too. Lot's of picnic areas including the walled garden and orchard. Fantastic deer experience especially early evening when they all come close and upfront. Bit pricey for a one off visit so worth becoming a member to enjoy all the other national trust parks too👍

Went for day trip here in Summer. Quite pricey to get in but worth it. Will probably invest in NT memembership in the future! There is plenty to see. The house in the grounds is stunning. Learn about the history of the place as you explore the house. The grounds around the house are beautiful, perfect visit for anyone who loves nature and history. The walled gardens are a must see.

Beautiful, as usual. The national trust do a great job of maintaining the house and gardens. Great play area for children, toilets and baby change are plentiful. Hot food served, pricey but worth it.
