Great campsite within easy 10 min walking distance of Much Wenlock. Lots of great pubs and places to eat. We stayed mid November and had everything we needed, luckily the weather was kind to us, glad of the hook up at this time of year. Would definitely return.
Midweek in August we found Sytche to be a very quiet, pretty rural site only ten minutes stroll from Much Wenlock town centre. Facilities are more than adequate when the site isn't too busy. Checking in was done remotely since the reception isn't always manned. The site generally looks well cared for and pitches are of a generous size. Warden was friendly.
What a find this campsite was. Spacious pitches with plenty of hardstanding and serviced with electric. At the very edge of Much Wenlock its only a short walk into the town. Toilet block was spotlessly clean with adequate showers and toilet cubicles. Many walks available from the town. Booking is a must for weekends and busy times. Really enjoyed our stay and certainly return next year.
Stayed for a few nights 3 or 4 weeks ago. Site is lovely, grass kept short & no bits in the tent. Nice views. Pitches are on a slope not good as we kept slipping down the bed. There are disabled facilities but wasn't able to use the shower because pressure is so high & the shower head doesn't tilt, just floods the floor so this caused us problems.
Have stopped at Styche on 3 occasions in our motorhome with 2 dogs in tow . We have visited dozens of sites all over UK. It ranks in our top 5. It’s a fantastic venue and looking forward to our next visit in February
A beautiful ideally situated campsite. Only about a ten minute walk into Much Wenlock town which is beautiful with a Museum, shops, fantastic butchers and lovely friendly pubs. The site itself is so clean and tidy and run to a high standard. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and so much wildlife. The site as tastefully placed solar lights in the trees, so still giving a relaxing atmosphere. There are tables and chairs for use and fit pits, a added bonus. There is also a shed filled with info and walking maps. The showers and toilets are kept very clean even when very busy. Washing up area with fridge, freezer, spare cups,bowl,and cutlery. Washing up liquid and cleaning supplies are also provide. This site is ideal position to get to all local attractions. A lovely couple run the site. If you are looking for a totally relaxing site then this is the one.
Lovely campsite great staff and a short walk to the very pretty much wenlock with lots of lovely cafes, shops and pubs. WC’s and showers nice and clean - even has a toaster & microwave available in the washing up hut. Will definitely be back thanks for a lovely weekend.
Excellent site with good facilities including washing up area indoors. Caravans are on various levels so all pitches have good view over the countryside
Only stayed for one night, but will stay here again. Lovely well kept site. Very peaceful, nice size pitches, clean toilets. I never saw any one who ran the place cause I got there a little late due to traffic. But I let them know and they were lovely about it and told me what to do and left instructions for me. Lovely place to stop and chill out.
What a terrific find. Set in the beautiful Shropshire countryside ten minute walk from Much Wenlock town. Hard standing for motorhomes and caravans and a grassed area for tents. Electrical hook ups for all. BBQ and fire pits allowed just be careful not to burn the grass. We met some great people and will definitely be back.
