Must do for a city tourist. Beautiful walk up to the top. Right there in the city center. Multiple walks to get up there. Nearly 20 mins from the city center. Blessing of this amazing city is the beautiful views reachable with very little effort.
Beautiful view over Edinburgh, old monument, and possibly to buy coffee after all steps
Best views of the city skyline by far and a real beauty to behold in itself. Definitely one of the must visits while in Edinburgh.
Friendly, helpful staff. Food good
Stunning view. Also good for small exercise by walking
Part of a Neo-classical temple inspired on the ancient Greek style but unfinished. There's only the front part with twelve columns. You can enjoy the gardens and other monuments surrounding and also the walks around Calton Hill with beautiful views of the city of Edinburgh.
Great visit, worthwhile doing. The monument offers great views of the surrounding countryside.
stunning! though a bit hard to clam to the base platform, thanks to the nice people who give me a hand....:
