We have only recently discovered this pub even though we have passed it nearly every day for three years. after our three visits I thought it certainly worth a review. What we needed was a local pub that had good food at a reasonably price, the sort of place that you can go at a whim when you cant be botherd to cook or forget to get what you wanted out of the freezer and this is perfect. a nice selection of local beer and some lovely proper food on the menu - last night (aug 17) we had two main courses a pint and a soft drink and it came to about £25. to top it all of it has a great atmosphere and is dog friendly in the bar and a separate eating area to the main restaurant part.
