A huge, independently owned & run, pet specialist with a significant range of goods, albeit mainly for dogs and cats, plus a small selection for other pets. Tilly pictured liked the range of treats and dog coats. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful and there's some private parking for customers. Well worth a visit
This is the only shop I buy food from for my cats. I always feel welcomed when i go in and more than happy to spend time with you to help you learn how to transition onto a raw diet. They genuinely care about your pets, they even remember their names, and ask how they are. Really lovely shop, with lovely owners. Very lucky to have this in Morpeth. Would 100% recommend to any one with fur babies!
One of the best pet shops around! Fab quality products & great prices. My two dogs love coming here. All of the staff are so lovely and knowledgeable, and they’re always around to help you out should you need it. Highly recommend!
There are lots of pet shops in Morpeth but this one is by far the best if you are a dog parent. The shop owners are very knowledgeable one even volunteered to sniff my dogs gross ear but also will put you off buying something that you don’t need or that won’t last your growing puppy very long. They can pick out the perfect treats for your dogs breed and age, and can advise the pros and cons of each brand of dog food. There is of course some lovely things for cats too but the dog section goes above and beyond.
Love this place, it has everything u would wany for ur fur babys and its all natural. Good selection of treats and raw food we just go for treats the lasses that work there are so helpfully and Chester loves to go and pick his own shopping.
We called in today to seek advice on a new harness for our dog. All staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The assistant who helped us direct was so knowledgeable and her advice was exceptional and great with our dog. Thanks you so much and we will be back soon for more natural treats
Fantastic shop with excellent products. Our 3 dogs all have ruffwear harnesses that are still going strong over a year down the line. A lot of though has obviously been put into the products that are stocked, as they are chosen due to their high quality and natural origin. Ours love the bully sticks and billtong chews in particular. Staff are always helpful and polite, and the owners have a wealth of knowledge to help feed a high quality, natural diet to your pets.
This shop is brilliant and we could not fault these girls. The shop is well laid out, social distancing has definitely been taken into consideration, the one way system works really well, and if there's no one else around...you can skip the system to exactly where you need to be. The variety of products is well thought out. The toys are great value, the harnesses too and they're all neat and tidy, unlike bigger brand shops where everything doesn't really 'have its place'. We take both our dalmatians there who are on a raw diet and they love coming in and picking their natural raw treats. The girls are so helpful, so accommodating and the ability to order online and pick up during lockdown was something that we really took advantage of. We used to shop elsewhere for Raw treats and food, but now we wouldn't shop anywhere else. Keep going girls....you're doing fantastic and are a credit to your shop :
Absolutely love this pet shop! The girls and their team are amazing and very knowledgable. They all genuinely care about their customers and their pets. I have followed them through the years as they’ve developed and seen them try all sort of products for all sorts of animals. They used to stock a lovely range or small animal products but sadly there wasn’t the customer base for them so they were forced to stop. As a small business you cannot please everyone so they’ve honed their products for the majority and now have the best range of dog products I’ve seen for any independent pet shop and also a great range of cat products too. I regularly drop in for cat toys and treats. Great job team Pet HQ!
Brilliant small business with a wide range of products. The staff were incredibly helpful with their advice on the products. I got an Ancol Viva padded harness and matching lead fitted onto one of my boys, planning on coming back for my girls. The ladies also recommended a fantastic paw slow feeder dish to help slow down my dogs eating to help with bloating and regurgitation. If you’re visiting Morpeth this is definitely the place to go
