We stayed at the house in April 2023 for a week, a large family group of all ages celebrating a big birthday. We absolutely loved the house - kitchen was so well-equipped, lots of space for a group of 11, and the views were fantastic. We loved eating in the dining room and sitting at night by the wood burner playing games. Would very much recommend Munro's, and Bute is a beautiful island.
Absolutely brilliant place to stay if you are a large group visit the Isle of Bute. There's plenty of place for cars to park, we had 5 cars. The bedrooms are spacious and well maintained with 7 of them having a ensuite shower. There are a lot of toys and board games to keep infants, toddlers and kids busy. The kitchen is huge with a all the modern amenities. The place also has a movie room with a great collection of movies. The living room with a great collection of books and a well-lit fireplace just makes the ambiance unbeatable. The owners are very warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend the place.
Loved our stay at Munro’s. Great people run this place. Yummy breakfast! Stunning view from our room number 6. The communal lounge is very comfy and relaxing. Parking was easy. Had no problem with the wi fi. Will stay again!
What an amazing place. The owners are fantastic and cater for any requirements. Even did the catering for one of the evening we were here. Unprecedented level of care and tl attention to details. A must stay for anyone visiting Bute.
Absolutely perfect vacation spot for a large group. We were 19.from Germany, Washington, Illinous, Oregon and California and we had a fabulous family reunion and Anniversary celebration. Highly recommend!
Great little B&B, friendly reception from owners, modern rooms and good quality breakfast - will use again next time in Bute. They also offer bread making courses too.
Hot water and heating only available for an hour before breakfast and around 5. Friendly people and nice breakfast. Felt duped paying £50pnpp when the glenburn had 24hr heating, hot water,wifi,dinner,bed and breakfast for £30pnpp.
Interesting house with what nderful views and great kitchen. Comfortable for letting kids wander free.
