I visited them tonight. It was really one of the best 3 restaurants in London in terms of welcoming on the door, ordering, time to prepare the food, avenue and all details. It was amazing experience and I am sure that I will visit them again and recommend all my friends, relatives and colleagues to visit them. Special and very big thanks to Employee Sara, she really makes everything perfect and provides more than excellent service. 10/10 Sara .
Thought this was a great place for Indian food. It was well prepared, fresh and v tasty indeed. There is plenty of scope for a good drink too. A very wide range of everything. Service was polite and friendly. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Nice restaurant with nice food. I visited the place with friends and we were immediately seated without having to wait. The food came slowly, but it gave us a chance to talk and laugh. If you decide to visit this restaurant, first check the opening hours.Food: 4/5
Good Indian restaurant just north of Baker Street. The dining area is large and affords some privacy to each table. The food is very good: fresh poppadoms, excellent dal soup, tasty if rather hot chicken jalfrezi, a chick pea side and an excellent naan were my choices. The service is excellent.Food: 4/5
This was place was extremely average. The servers were nice but a little bit forceful on trying to sell us drinks and extra food when all we were after was a straightforward dinner. The food was average. Starters were good but the speed with which they came out was concerning and on tasting them they had clearly just been flash fried or microwaved from chilled. The Mains again were disappointing the chicken was very dry and sauces a bit bland with the rice portion being a bit small. I wish places wouldn't offer Groupon deals only then to be almost grumpy that you're taking them up on the offer. Maybe if you're paying full price you get a different experience but I'm doubtful of this. The final point was on exit we were presented a bill with zero cost but an arbitrary £4 service charge which kind of came from nowhere
Great food.. All our group were very happy with their dishes.. Very friendly service.. Quite reasonable prices, avarage ambienceFood: 5/5
Service was very good and quick. The menu has a reasonable selection to choose from and the food was pretty decent too. It was a weekday, the restaurant wasn't very busy, so didn't need to wait and didn't need a reservation.Food: 4/5
I am re writing my review, still the same 5 stars, but I want to thank again Mumtaz for its superb service, quality and for always keeping their high standards. We have been coming here for more than 2 years as regulars and I can honestly say it is my favourite place to eat Indian in UK. Keep up the good work please!
I went here for dinner after a tiring day in London. No booking was required as it was not too occupied. Staff seemed good and pleasant. It has a big sitting area. Some vegetarian options are available. Paneer dishes are available. Watch out of the glass walls as you may get a glimpse of a famous person! I spotted former England cricketer Nasser Hussain ! Overall very similar to Indian food, I recommend. Vegetarian options: Paneer Mixed vegetables curry Vegetable biryani
Incredible taste, very kind and attentive staff. Prices aren’t too bad and the portions are generous. Nicely done
