Great way to spend the school holidays. Admission fees get you into the folk and transport parts. Involves a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. Very interesting for all ages but be warned - give yourself plenty of time so that you get to see everything. Treat yourself to coffee and tray bakes in the quaint little cafe or if the weather is cold then try the delicious stew. There is a lovely gift shop and an amazing little sweet shop where you can buy some favourites the old fashioned way!

We went to the transport museum as we no longer live in NI and thought it would be a good few hours out for our granddaughter. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty to see and do. The kids going and old like to climb aboard the exhibits. NB the Ulster Folk museum is also a must visit.

Wow, I remember coming here with my Grandpa probably 20 years ago or more. Had such a good time that it's still a prominent memory I have. Happy to see it's still here.

Second building had no heating, and there was still snow on the ground so it wasn't the most pleasant of experiences in that part. Not much change in exhibits, if any, since the last visit a number of years ago. Don't know what's going on with that ark thing at the back of the grounds and pity the miniture railway was closed as that was part of the reason for going so check before you go. Main building is still pretty good if you've never been before.

Lovely place for the family to go visit. Plenty to see and do. On the pricier side but still worth a visit.
