It has had a makeover since the last time I went and it looks so much better for it. There are some really cosy seats and feels so much better. The door to the car park has been closed off so the entrance is at the main door.the food and menu choice is also very good and reasonably priced
Its like our friendly, neighbourhood, cozy pub! The place is like any other pub with a slightly modern touch to its interiors. The staff is quite friendly with the normal drinks and food as with any other regular pub. First time we ended up going to this place cause it looked quite fancy from the outside and us thinking we could do a nice date night but it looks like its just a routine drinking place when you haven't got much to do over the weekend. I am sure this place would be great for an amazing feast in the summers as the outside decor looks stunning and would do amazing on a bright sunny day paired with a nice beer and steak. Worth a try but not to keep your hopes that high!
Went here for a short time after work, it was a Friday afternoon so expected it to be packed out but surprisingly wasn't, tables available including outside area which looks very appealing and somewhere I'd love to sit at night in the summer. I love the fact that there are tables then booths available also. I didn't get to try the food but someone sitting with me did and it looked very good. Overall experience was great.
They had a Karaoke night and it was super fun. I even got my mate up to sing too Friendly enough place, food at good prices if you're hungry. Good size car park and lit well. Toilets were just about adequate
Don’t know why we bothered to book a table as no one there to greet us and bar person just said sit anywhere. Ordering food was easy enough although took some time as only 1 person to serve drinks and take orders. Food was ok but steak and ale pie had soggy pastry. Decent portion sizes.
Went here for the first time after work with some friends for a few drinks, lovely pub with helpful, friendly staff, food coming out looked lovely and it was a really nice atmosphere, will definitely be back to sample the menu.
Absolutely love this place great food, great prices, fantastic service and wonderful friendly staff. Atmosphere is great. Another great meal yesterday Sunday roast, proper Turkey nice and thick and juicy, apple crumble nicest I have ever tasted, staff usual great friendly service. Just simply the Best.
Food was nice We had burgers they were nice but not worth the money as came with no coleslaw no corn or salad just burger and chips was glad we had the 30% off voucher Won't be going back
Such a shame this pub was our go to for years but the beer selection has gone down hill. The carling never tastes right so don't drink that no more and we used to drink Carlsberg now that's gone so no longer can drink there as other beers are to dear. One good thing is the food is always lovely.
The food and service was great! Went on a busy night and didn't have to wait long on the food. It came out hot and it was great! I really liked their chips. Good service with a helpful staff. It was also very clean inside which is a must for me.
