Went last night for Festive Fayre - absolutely amazing food, cooked perfectly and served piping hot. Very generous size portions. Staff were efficient, friendly and attentive as always. Great atmosphere and entertainment. Definitely deserve 5+ stars. Definitely recommend a visit.
Had a lovely meal here today at the Claregate pub. Staff went up and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Stayed and had drinks as well. Staff were really busy but remained courteous and polite. The pub itself was really clean and the friendly atmosphere was so warming. Well done. Will be returning soon.
Very nice, clean pub. Friendly bar staff. Great food served till 9pm. Large selection of drinks available. Disabled access to entrance of the pub, and also inside. Great decor. Pool table and games machines/gamblers available. Toilets are always clean and checked regularly by staff.
Recently visited on a Sunday afternoon with my elderly mum. We were really impressed with the service, choice and food - all worthy of a more expensive establishment in our opinion. The assistant manager - Andrew was extremely attentive with my mum, made her feel special. He also told us about a new menu and showed us around.. I didn’t know they had a smart function room, will definitely be using it for future business events. Great to have the choice of a Sunday dinner or normal menu, unlike a carvery. Beef dinner and ultimate chicken burger were prompt, hot and tasty. A proper pub! Well done!
My partner and I had some burgers here last night. They were amazing. The cowboy burger for myself and he had the southern fried chicken one. Staff were friendly and service was speedy. Thank you. We will be back!
We hadn’t been for a while but the food has improved massively and the menu is 200x better than it was - we were out for a meal and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, only down side was there is a specials menu advertised on your website which wasn’t yet available - we can’t wait to visit you again shortly to try the new specials menu it sounds amazing!!!! Better than your standard Marstons ding food
Met up with my mate for a catch up. Food could not fault it, I had hunters chicken and my friend Linda had fish and chips, piping hot, delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for us. See you all soon
Visited with a large group 30 for a family celebration. Food was fabulous, massive meals served hot and fresh. The staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. Thanks so much for helping us celebrate together.
I must admit when we arrived to celebrate my birthday we were a little disappointed with the decor as it was more of a sports bar! Anyway we were soon pleased the service we received, and the lovely food made up for the decor. So much we definitely will be back.
It's cheap and cheerful. At around £15 a meal. Which I think shows the quality and taste of the food. It has children's play areas inside with TVs etc so it may be perfect for Family's. Personally, it is not a place for me to want to visit again. However it is cheap and it is cheerful. And for a budget place to take the kids to, then it would be perfect. Just not for me Disabled parking is very poor. There are only two spaces. However, access is not too bad and is all on one level
