I really liked this place, it was cozy and the staff were very accommodating. A great friendly pub. I have only given 3 stars because 4 and 5 stars are for pubs that do great food too, and unfortunately they don't do food, this is not a criticism, just an observation. If you want somewhere to wind down after a busy day, this pub is ideal.
Lovely local pub, handy, on black cat wood walk through essington. Clean, tidy,good range of beers at reasonable price
Not as expected according to write ups. Toilets not very clean but on saying that staff very pleasant
Warm and welcoming with a real fire and friendly visitors and staff :
Small Village Pub. Not been in here for quite a while. It could be described as cosy. No Car Park and limited space at road side. Landlord seemed decent enough and the Beer appeared to be well kept.
Great drinks choice and good to see a friendly face behind the bar .. Will be back again
Had change went on Thursday still a nice local pub.
Just popped in travelling from London, back home to Wrexham. Really friendly atmosphere. Drink and a lovely little bar meal.
Recently attended a party staff where friendly and helpful fast at service even though it was packed highly recommended for parties a special shout-out to the to gems staff x
