Recently purchased a BMW M4 Competition from Tim at Moorgate. The car was in very good order as described over the phone. Tim was professional, knowledgeable, and has a clear passion for quality used cars. After the test drive we agreed the sale with a couple of very minor cosmetic items to be addressed being a small scuff to 1 wheel and a tiny mark on the front splitter car now like new. The wheel was Diamond cut, mark repaired and 12 months MOT put on the car all within a couple of days. Tim then delivered the motor to my door which is 100+ miles as promised and I gave him a lift to my local train station. All in all a genuinely nice guy who sold and delivered exactly what was agreed. Thanks again Tim, and good luck with the house.
Bought a BMW 3 series from Tim at Moorgate Motors, quick sale and 1 of 2 small issues I had with the car were fixed on the site after I had already paid, this was not required but was genuinely appreciated never the less. Tim was straight forward about any issues with the car and did not pressure into purchasing. Many thanks for the service given!
It’s unusual that I take time to review any shop/buying experience. I would like to thank Tim very much for his patience and hospitality during a recent visit and subsequent purchase. I always like to be treated exactly the way I always treat my clients. His attention to detail , honesty is explanatory. A testament to his business ethic having traded now for in excess of 8 years. A lovely guy and really enjoyed the whole experience.
This was a great buying experience. The car was in super condition for the test drive and Tim had arranged all the cars history and service documentation in paper format for review. I couldn’t pick up the car for a few weeks due to travel issues but Tim had no issues with that and even picked me up from the train station on the day of pick up. Really professional but also personal service experience on the purchase of a superbly presented vehicle, which after purchase has met all expectations. Many thanks.

Purchased a car from Tim at Moorgate earlier this month. Tim was very professional and agreed to hold the car until i could visit the following day. I offered to leave a deposit to secure the car and Tim was gracious enough to refuse provided I turned up the next day at the agreed time. I was able to inspect the car fully and test drive. I purchased the car the same-day and Tim was able to process everything including trade-in of my existing vehicle quickly and efficiently. Customer service was excellent. I appreciate I have only had the vehicle a few weeks but so far so good and i have no issues or complaints. On this basis i would have no hesitation in recommending prospective buyers to Tim at Moorgate.
Bought a nice Jag at a good price from Moorgate motors, Tim was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, his knowledge, attention to detail and level of customer service were all of a high standard. The car did unfortunately develop a fault, Tim was very gracious and paid a Jaguar specialist not cheap to sort the fault quickly. Very happy with the service.
