A busy auction with a good amount of cars available. If your a buyer who needs needs delivery their service is good but you are better of collecting yourself or by a 3rd party within 3 days, read the T&Cs for all details. The staff are efficient and friendly
Worst auction house ever, I have been in the trade for over 20 years - they managed to setup a new account and I purchased a used 2019 Lexus for £20k - was £300 below cap and a grade 2. Upon delivery, terrible paintwork - had a front corner smash and badly repaired, washer bottle leaking, TPMS light always on due to no alloy wheel sensor fitted - oh and a bucked alloy. Spoke to MAG, and a manager there who told me that cars are sold as is! All I can do is warn anyone looking to buy from that platform - STAY AWAY - better to pay silly BCA prices at least their grading system is not that bad! Reading previous reviews, yes MAG fake bid on their own cars, say sold and then re appear - DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS
I was called by MAG and asked to join up to their new platform after some sort of speration from cazoo auctions. I did this and started to watch the auctions, bidding on a few bits here and there. I quickly noticed that vehicles were either going well over CAP or appearing again shortly after being "sold". When I eventually did win a vehicle which I assumed would be OK as the report which the buyer pays for said that there were no issues with the vehicle and listed defects around the car. On closer inspection there was an issue, this being in one of the very poor quality pictures one of the interior doors was being held closed with a bungee cord. Nothing detailed on the report and nothing said by the auctioneer. I was told that I should have know this from one picture. I refused to pay for the vehicle and on this basis and was told basically that I couldn't use their platform anymore should i not pay. Here is an example as to why the motor trade gets a bad rep.
Very poor service Won't release car on the day Won't accept cash payments or card payments debit or even credit card payments. Time on website in terms of opening are incorrect. They are no open till 7pm, can you please state your opening hours for vehicle collections And buyers fee for traders 35% alot higher than BCA,Manhiem, Astan Barclay auctions. Tried to talk with them about this but not interested. Not a professional service will not be purchasing from this auction hall again. Wasted over 10 hours on payments 2 wasted trips and still no car. No customer service value at all. Still no inspected car will wait till it is collected.
If it were possible to give no stars or a minus 100 would do. Their fee's even to the trade are a total rip off! Cars are way too expensive they bid themselves off the backwall and in their office too. Some of the vehicles are not fit for purpose they try and baffle people with their t's and c's in essence just a scam operating in plane site. Known to turn off engine lights etc very naughty how Trading Standards has not closed it down by now baffles me?
First time I visited a car auction for a few years. The lady on front desk was really helpful and to be honest the service was the same in all areas. A good team of people. Thank you for a nice experience of buying a car for my daughter.
Before Covid, my fiancé and I used to come to this car auction quite regular. You’d come down, get a nice meal and take a look at the cars going through auction. For the first time in about three years we came down again to resume what we see as a nice evening out. At the reception we were told we wouldn’t be allowed to come to the auctions without putting down a £250 deposit. Surely that’s if we intended to buy a car? We just wanted to come and watch! I admit we didn’t query this further, but if that’s the case now, what a let down! Is it a members only thing now?
I am surprised with this car auction which doesn't know the difference between import cars and UK cars cap clean value, import car first registration in UK 2019 but 2015 model and advertising cap clean value as 2019 value without telling customers its import not just that the same car was texi which was not mentioned. When I told person on the deskauctioner its ex texi he made fun and said to me i never seen white texi. I am leaving car registration number so its not fake review LJ15RJU. Ex texi in london TFL was licensing athurty. Texi plate at rear window It's not legal to sale ex texi without mentioning
Yes I have seen this car Toyota Prius White Reg "LJ15RJU". Its import model and also they did not mention its ex taxi. Attached picture is the proof of the taxi plate at the rear window, and also the cap clean value is not according to the 2015 model of the car.
