The best of five Wetherspoon branches we visited on our Manchester trip and also the largest. Much to admire in design and architecture. Two bars serving with a cask ale heaven for the purist. Food was served quickly by attentive friendly staff. Most enjoyable.Food: 5/5
Nice and big weatherspoon with the standard menu, due to being in city centre you do however pay the more premium prices for food and drinks compared to the spoons further away. Had the euros on the tv at the time and food/drink service was quick despite how busy it was at the time. Only downside was some tables on the upper floor were a little cramped but can't complain because we at least got a seat!! Vegetarian options: standard spoons menu but good options as always
My favourite wetherspoons so far visited in Manchester. Looks small from the outside, but as you move through the pub, it's deceptively large. Vibrant atmosphere and hardly any spare tables despite having 3 bars! Very nicely decorated, keeping some original features like the leaded lights. Good choice of ales. I had a very kept Early Doors Bitter served by friendly Katie.
Last time I didn't get in at 1:28 a.m. It was Friday. You're open google maps info till 2:00 a.m.. My friends spent much more money then. I collect them after 2:00. I am not really sure but atmosphere @ Bishop Blaze's much better.Food: 3/5
It was quite busy when we arrived so struggled to find an empty table. Had to ask for it to be cleaned when we ordered, which it was, promptly. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Could do with more choice for deserts. As it's in city centre Manchester there is no parking available. The entrance is wheelchair friendly but most of the tables on ground floor level were very high with bar stool type chairs so wouldn't be suitable for anyone in a wheelchair. The main menu is extensive with lots of vegetarian options. There are a few tables and chairs outside, but under cover. Didn't see any children whilst we were there, nor a children's menu.
This is a great pub with two floors that get very busy . all sorts of people go to this pub from football fans - concert & theatre goers to people on just a night out & visitors to Manchester . whoever you are, you're found a warm welcome .you can go up to the bar or order on the wetherspoon app and have your food or drinks brought to your table. this pub is in a great location. and the prices are reasonable for a city centre pub . highly recommended a visit Parking: There is car parking but not nearby . Best leaving car at home use transport Or stay in a nice hotel in Manchester Kid-friendliness: They do allow children in as long as they behave Wheelchair accessibility: can get around with wheelchair Also toilet on the ground floor near the entrance door
Today was my first to the moon it was a sub zero day as we walked it was lovely and warm, the place was busy but we found a seat, I ordered our food at the bar the member of staff was very welcoming and we were soon served it was warm and tasty, would I return yes as is very handy for x 43 bus.Food: 4/5
I was visiting Manchester for a night out with a close friend, we visited Moon Under The Water, Such a wonderful and unique building. Full of features and amazing details. Great music from the DJ, Dancing on the dance floor. Having an amazing time without a care in the world. Would definitely visit again.
Lovely little place in Manchester. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy place to eat, as we're the toilets once you've climbed all the stairs lol. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Would love to visit again and would recommend to family and friends. Nice name also. Bus service runs close by as does the trams. If your staying at Manchester Central it's just round the corner. Not sure if they had accessible toilet but they did have accessible entrance Wheelchair accessibility: Had wheelchair accessible entrance but not sure if they had accessible toilet as the toilets were upstairs and I didn't see one downstairs
I had breakfast at this place and it was really good! The service was fast and the prices were reasonable. Refillable coffee was a great addition.Food: 5/5
