Never a cab ar the rank and never answer the phone either, very very poor service, such a shame
Used Monifieth Cabs every single Friday for at least 10 years from Belltree to Bridge Lane. Brilliant service up until approx 2 years ago. Now when you phone your normally palmed off with can’t get there for an hour. Phoned tonight and call to them was obviously being cut off at there end. They don’t appear to have an office, but take calls direct in the cab. Perseverance paid off after 6 further calls that were also cut short. When l did get through l was told at least an hour prior to pick up. When l asked why my call was continually cut off, l was again disconnected. So that’s the end on what had previously been a good working relationship for both parties, as l will certainly never use them again. And Unknown’s to them, they will, as of now also lose a very lucrative business they have with a company that unknown to them, l own.
Terrible company they have a free phone number in Tesco Monifieth that over the past few weeks have been going off at any time it pleases them yesterday I was with my elderly father we tried the free phone it was off this was around 15.00.15.10 asked a employee from Tesco why there phone was off she said they please themselves we are fed up of them customers complaining that they cant get a hold of them know wonder if there not supplying there customers least the staff at Tesco said we will get you another taxi and 5 mins later they appeared speaking to a gentleman outside Tesco he said he would never use them again and I agree he said you cant even get them at weekends coming from the pub why do they have a business for me and my dad we wont ever be using them so for all monifieth and surrounding areas avoid at all costs I have also wrote a email to Tesco disgusting taxi firm with know respect for there customers .
Would rather give this company no stars I have just moved back to the area for family reasons for a short spell I was in Tesco’s today after I did my shopping I noticed the free phone number for this company after a number of tries it said the phone is switched off this was around 15.35 I asked a member of staff why was the phone not working she said they please themselves when to go off they don’t work past 18.00 and leaves customers stranded after that time and the company also has a bad reputation for not picking customers up and not answering there phone Even the staff get it from Tesco customers about them they usually arrange other taxis she arranged another taxi firm to pick me up AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Don’t use this company I prebooked a 6 seater taxi to take us home after a function taxi never arrived and when I phoned nobody would answer phone so ended up having to flag down two taxis to get home
Prompt and fast service, reasonable price, will definitely save the number for next time.
Joke of a company! Phoned this company for a taxi on many occasions. Been let down nearly every single time. Booked taxis that never come.
