This park is very well maintained by the local ranger staff and great to visit all year round. The children really enjoyed sledging down the snowy slopes in winter and playing in the large play park in summer. There are also regular events that take place and workshops which are both fun and value for money. The park is popular with dog walkers and most are considerate of children who are intimidated by dogs so a walk round Monikie park is always a pleasure.

Ample parking although you are meant to pay charge. Well kept park and adventure playground for kids. 3 ponds with ducks, swans, gulls and other wading birds. Cafe open at weekends.

Lovely place out to take kids lots to do will be a lovely place to have a picnic in the summer. We enjoyed making bird boxes today. Will be back again many times
