April 17th 2018. So a change in personnel.... A warm welcome replaced by borderline cold indifference. An effort from the new manager? To even muster a good morning. The older staff still chatty and nice, unfortunately an attitude not taken up by the newer faces. For a place that has made me feel welcomed on my morning breakfast coffee to this is a rather sad state of affairs.

Well made quality cappos. Pleasant relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of space. Inexpensive menu with in and outside seating. Great location with panoramic corner position

Civilised, friendly, well ran bustling tea shop. Watch the world go by through the big windows, lovely cakes. Consistently good 👍

A really nice place for a coffee and some cake. It's quite large and they do a selection of sarnies warm food at a decent price with friendly staff. There's also tables outside to sit and watch the world go by under the gaze of Tynemouth priory.
