Only had a burger but everything was homemade and tasted pretty good! However... Main thing? Didn't realize it was super dog friendly, but it certainly was very popular for dog walkers in there with 3 out of 4 tables with dogs, which btw is what the other half loved! It's something that has made us want to revisit the place again but with our own dogs next time and wished there was something similar near us in West Yorkshire

First time going to Allards for a friends birthday meal we had booked 2 weeks in advance. First of all, we were shoved in a corner and ignored for the first 20 minutes of our meal. When we eventually got round to being asked, they had very few vegetarian options (I think there was 3) and the only one that looked appealing to me was the veggie burger. However, they didn’t have enough for me and my friend so I ordered the Hotspur pizza. It tasted like vomit and I would not recommend at all. We continued to be ignored and our food took half an hour to come. Only redeeming quality was at the end the bill came fast. Never had this service before even in much cheaper and dare I say better resteraunts such as Sambucas down the Fish Quay.

Very nice place staff friendly food great so much choice. Well worth a visit if in tynemouth even do lush breakfasts😉

Food was really good. Lively atmosphere Only problem was lighting. Under table units lighting up meant it's not possible to read menus without the aid of a phone torch and without it difficult to see the food.
