Attended for brunch after Christmas with friends from the south. Unfortunately a chef hadn't showed up so they were incredibly stressed and the food wait was over an hour even though it wasn't busy. The staff were incredibly kind and offered to refund us for our wait, as well as giving us a voucher to be used the following month. We didn't request the refund as we weren't in a rush and the food was beautiful. We felt the staff tried their hardest to make the experience better
Great food. Service in bar area was extremely slow at clearing tables however we didn't experience it, only an observation.nWould we go back? Yes possibly into the restaurant side next time.
Me and my husband had fish and chips. Bit of incident on arrival. But remember accidents happen. Waiter could apologise enough. I told him not to worry. Food was beautiful. Would Def recommend.
Had a disappointing experience after a previously positive one. We were warned that the service might be slow due to a large table ahead of us, however we still waited 45 mins for starters. I ordered the crispy pork flatbread, waited over an hour for it to arrive and when it did it is a large flatbread with braised cabbage on it and a few pieces of soggy pork belly. Not at all what was advertised. When I mentioned this to the waitress, the manager then came over to tell me that it’s pork belly and they can’t get all the fat crispy why call it crispy pork then? Nowhere in the description does it say pork belly or I would have avoided for this reason. Very disappointing food and even worse response from staff when highlighted it. We had very long wait times, were asked to move table and then to get this food, and no mention of any sort of compensation or apology, it’s really put me off returning. A shame as it was previously somewhere I recommended to others.
Nice staff.nFood also nice but not hot.nGot a slice of cake from the display counter£4 .nSo old and hard you could use it to successfully coat a nuclear bunker.nWe actually bent the fork trying to break it apart. Took it back, got a refund. However we noted that they placed it back in the display counter. for some other poor customer.nPs hot drinks are cold..... buyer beware
