Supper cute little bistro. Very central and close to tube. Got the lunch sandwich special, great deal. Sandwich was solid., Atmosphere cute. Patio was popular. Aperol spritz made perfect and service was prompt/friendly. Definitely would come back if I am i the area :-Food: 5/5
Dirt / Grit in the pie. Ew! Came here for a roast today, will never come back. Veggie roast was awful. The truffle mushroom pie had so much dirt / grit that I kept on chewing, I couldn’t eat it. Obviously the mushrooms hadn’t been washed well enough. And the gravy— a picture speaks a thousand words. Literally looked and tasted like bath water. We were squeezed in a space where there obviously shouldn’t be a table as it was l basically a doorway for servers, we had absolutely no space and people kept on knocking us. Sometimes you don’t need to squeeze in the extra table. Ordinarily I would’ve asked for a full refund but Honestly we just wanted to get out as soon as possible. It’s a shame as my friend liked his meal, and the server was nice, but there is no saving dirt in your pie!
I really enjoyed this restaurant. I feel like a lot of restaurants in London are repurposed buildings, so the vibe was very unique and lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful, the mimosas had freshly squeezed orange juice, and the mushrooms from the English breakfast, along with the French toast, were delicious! I’d definitely go back.
Good for a casual and intimate evening out. The staff is warm and pleasant which went a long way in making the meal special. For vegetarians there is adequate but not superfluous choice - which means that in every category there is at least one option. It would be lovely to see a warm dish added to the list of vegetarian choices. There was the pasta and a rather well-seasoned quinoa salad, but perhaps a vegetable-based warm dish would have made the day. The space was snug, although I would have preferred a little more elbow room.
One of the best restaurants in London. The food is delicious. Always fresh with something a little different every time. An imaginative chef. Staff are charming and efficient. And the management of the restaurant is exceptional. A delicious, scrumptious Sunday brunch where the sun always shines even if it is raining outside. Thank you Minnow
Recommended to come for brunch and glad I made the effort to trek outside of my usual areas. Really exceptional breakfast - French toast was fluffy and light and I added items. Really generous portions and although a bit more expensive than brunches in the areas I usually go to, it was quality ingredients and well cooked and presentation. Ps. Hated the parking situation though! £9.60 for 90 mins is absolutely crazy!! This is where the council is slowly killing the hospitality industry.
Wonderful evening out with friends at the weekend. From the delicious cocktails we started with every course was excellent, particularly the ragu and chicken schnitzel . Highly recommend sharing plates so you get to try more food!! Staff were welcoming and attentive as always. Lovely warm cozy atmosphere inside on a cold night. Minnow is an excellent independent neighborhood restaurant that we love coming back to for brunch or dinner. Vegetarian options: Mushroom brioche, red pepper gnocchi, aubergine and more
This was such a great spot for this lovely May weather that we’re having. I highly recommend trying the croque monsieur as it did not disappoint. Probably one of the best I’ve had. The portion sizes are great as well as the atmosphere. Also, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend stopping her for a bite and a drink during an outing at Clapham Common.
Amazing place for brunch! Food was delicious and even better, management is incredible. There was a minor issue with our booking and when the manager realised he fixed all very quickly.
