We came to Fire and Fromage a couple of days before Christmas. There was seven of us in the igloo fits ten and as we had the 4:30pm seating, the minimum spend amount was £450. The seating was for less than 2 hours so we did feel slightly rushed but the food came out quickly. We had a starter each I had the pumpkin soup which was nice and we then shared two fondues which came with mixed charcuterie and sourdough baguette and three steaks with potatoes and salad, which was plenty of food. They were hesitant serving us dessert extra cost due to the time restriction but they reluctantly gave it to us. I'd give dessert a miss though. Service was relatively efficient when required and friendly.
This pop-up is the perfect creative destination for great winter food and après-ski vibes. We had bottomless raclette as a group to celebrate my parents visiting from the US and it was a highlight of their trip. Food was delicious, good value, atmosphere great with fire in the table. Do book in advance!Food: 5/5
Loved the fire pit and the unlimited raclette and potatoes! It’s really busy though and was overbooked on the night we came - they compensated us with free drinks for the evening which I appreciated! I took one star off because I didn’t enjoy the s’mores at all. It was non traditional and just marshmallows and cookies. Otherwise great visit, they don’t rush you on time, serve you promptly, and met Jimmy as well he was a great host!
We had a fantastic experience at the BBQ Club for a work event for 25 people, we hired the cabana and were served a 6 course menu, elements of which we cooked ourselves on the Big Green Eggs which was fun. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was great quality and really delicious.
I always nip in for a visit when in town. It's a lovely little place with excellent food and booze. Great location and very friendly staff. I love it here!
Love this place. They upgraded us to an igloo and we got free drinks on top of the welcome drinks because of the england game excitement. Service was awesome. Food was awesome fondue was super tasty! and the drinks were great too. It was lovely and toasty on a freezing night. Loads of fun. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
I would give ZERO star if Google allowed. My friends and I just experienced the most ridiculous and sad thing we’ve ever had. I am not sure if it’s because we are Asian/ Chinese girls; that’s why they treated us like this. One girl ordered sparkling water. The staff just asked her if she wanna some ice cubes; but it ended she’s been charge 4 pounds with some slices of lime, which was +1.5 pounds vs the price on the menu 2.5 pounds. Another friend experience much more disappointing thing, which has left her a very bad image of London, and she may probably avoid visiting London again. She ordered a cup of spirit 2.5 pounds per menu and said ‘only spirit’ clearly. However, the staff secretly added few drops of gin and charged her debit card 38 pounds! The fact is my friend is 17! I don’t understand why they make money by fair means or foul!?
Had an excellent meal at Jimmy’s pop up at Somerset House. The food and drinks were great and the service could not have been better. We were very impressed.
Lovely situation by skate park. Live entertainment! Logs replenished regularly, blankets and cushions a plenty, chatty mein host. A good experience, watching the world go by.
Where do I start. Having seen the great looking ads online and opting for 4 people to attend for my partners birthday, I paid upfront for the Fire and Fromage ‘all you can eat raclette’ deal…£140. Fast forward to the day following a reminder email to underline the fact that I’ve paid and should attend we make our way to town to find that Fire and Fromage had closed. No notification, no email, no text or call no notice what so ever. I’ve emailed twice and contacted through instagram with no response.
