A busy Wetherspoon pub, although it was a Saturday afternoon on my visit. I had the five bean chili jacket potato with salad and garden peas. Unlimited hot drinks too, for £7. At the back of the pub and restaurant is a large patio terrace. Quite easy to find in the busy shopping centre, next door is McDonald's
Not the best experience I have had in a wetherspoons. Can't really blame the staff because the work under head office rules. I have previously complained to head office in the past and they just back the staff. On this occasion I ordered a breakfast. When it arrived there we no eggs on it. I queried the forgotten eggs to be told they had none, and that an extra hash brown would have been added, which to be fair it was. I then looked at the pricing and took issue. To be told the problem was no eggs due to avian flu. They also blamed the app which couldn't be amended, i suggested just removing it as an option. They also stated there were signs up which stated they had no eggs, i never saw one sign. I suggested putting a note on each table and advised that was too big a job!! Yet they put menus on every table!! I suggested that a replacement of 1 hash brown for 2 eggs was not reasonable on 2 grounds. A hash brown is nothing like an egg and therefore not remotely a reasonable replacement. I also stated that based on their own pricing 2 eggs was 1.60 and 1 has brown 40p, therefore not a reasonable replacement based on price either. I therefore requested a refund of 1.20, which was refused on the grounds that they were working under head office guidance!! The blamed the fact that the till wouldn't balance if they offered a refund. I then had a third member of the team, presumably a manger state all of the above again. I stated for a third time that I did not think it was a reasonable process and replacement, again stating my outcome was a refund of 1.20, to essentially pay for what I had been provided which I don't think is unreasonable. The final irony is that I was offered 2 replacement poached eggs!! But they had no eggs!!

Nice and clean table, great tasty food and friendly staff. You can order with the app and get your food and drinks direct to the table. We had a chicken burger and chicken bites and it was a really good taste for a really reasonable price.
Food had to go back as it wasn't hot, The server also didn't bring the mango chutney and the coleslaw. I had to go up and ask him, and the eye roll was extraordinary. When the food was brought back to the table, my wife was lucky not to have it in her lap when he threw it onto the table. I'm not impressed at all..
Only had drinks with the wife and her friend. The girls had alcoholic drinks at a reasonable price for lager and vodka/coke, I only had a refillable hot drinks due to driving. A excellent price for hot refills but of the 2 machines only drinks available was coffee of various types and tea, no hot chocolate, good job I love tea. Would have given 5 stars if everything available in machines buy no real fuss. Staff as usual polite and efficient tables getting cleared away as soon as empty

Value for money. In the main nice food but no mushy peas with my fish n chips as the staff should let customers know of changes to dinner order rather than bringing the food changes on the plate to the table and not giving the customer enough time to consider an alternative before presenting the change on the plate and the customer having the inappropriate option of a another delay to receive a suitable alternative menu. Other than that all was fine
Went to the bar to order food. A member of staff stood at bar messing with something. He saw me stood there and didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Waited approx 10 mins and another member of who happened to go behind the bar saw me and spoke to me. When I said I wanted to order he said we have ran out of food. Why couldn’t the first member of staff just said told me that instead of making me and my family waste our time there. Won’t be going back there. Terrible service.
Unfortunately not a very good visit on this occasion, ordered a large breakfast which when it came was barely warm also the eggs were cold and yolks were solid,but on the plus side got the cost of the breakfast returned with no quibbling, so thankyou for that.
