Me and the kids love this place. They put on great craftfs/baking workshops during school holidays. Very friendly staff help the little ones out with eye spy searches etc. The staff talk you round the ever changing museum exhibitions (even tho a small room) But main attraction the mill itself is explained well to older children who can make it up the tight steps. Very interactive. Lovely garden to walk around. Well worth a few hours. Only a few parking spaces so arrive earlier.

Great to see some living history in the form of an actual working watermill. Brilliant miller who explained everything and I bought some freshly milled flour to bake my own organic loaf. Exhibition in the museum was good, too. Can't wait for cream tea season - I will definitely be paying a return visit.

Fantastic place to visit: friendly people; see a flour mill in action making floyr from wheat; lovely outside area for children to play in; great organised craft activity for children. Only thing it needs is a cafe to provide hot drinks and snacks as the machine effort isn't up to it I'm afraid. Thank you

Excellent morning out. The mill is fantastic. The Miller chap was awesome, very knowledgeable and made the experience interesting and fun. However he could do with speaking up a little when the mill is operating as we were struggling to hear him at times. But a thoroughly bloody nice bloke. Thanks.
