I visited on a Sunday, so the theatre was open before the museum. It was great it was possible to get a joint ticket at the theatre. The site really helped to give a sense of what the theatre would have been like. Loved the little row of shops and town house within the site too.

Came here to see a performance of The Brothers, by Publius Terenius Afer. Told we were 1,878 years too late. Pathetic. Hence the three stars. Would have been two, but managed to park opposite.

I wanted to see this place for quite some time. It was hot and sunny when we got out to it. Still, I just had to take in every second of it. What an awesome find. I hope the sheep that live next door sell off their grazing lands one day so that more archaeological work can be done on the surrounding area. Go and see this place!

This is a short walk from Verulamium Park so best to park by the Museum. The theatre is clearly visible and shows what the romans achieved during their occupation. Its great to see and pleasing the place wasn't totally destroyed.
