Hunton Park is something to see, however, you want be staying in the main Hunton Park, the nearest rooms are the "Barn Block". The other rooms are much more modern. Having stayed in the Barn Block, the room was lovely, comfy bed, beautiful shower room, miniature fridge in room as well as offering room service. Although the room was nice, the corridors could do with a spruce up and the gardens could do with with a little more TLC. Food; upon arrival we were given an information leaflet stating times of breakfast & dinner. Having paid for half board, the husband and I went for dinner only to be informed that the restaurant is closed and we may only order bar food. This was fine... There were two vegetarian dishes on the menu, I chose one, they had run out, I chose the other, again, they had run out. Thankfully, I was informed they could cook the tagliatelle without meat. Brilliant!! In all honesty, it tasted better than any of the other dishes sounded. Slept well in the bed, quite a firm matress but very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning went off to a good start as we were informed there weren't a huge amount of guests so everything will be fresh cooked to order. Lovely!! We ordered our food and waited. It wasn't long before our dishes were served... Both with sausage and bacon. I inform them that this is not what I ordered and I am vegetarian. He was very apologetic and ordered us new dishes. They came out very promptly, which I was impressed with untill I noticed that the hash browns were from the old plate. All of the food was nice but it does concern me just how much meat can be served to a vegetarian in 24 hours! Overall it was a good stay. Staff were all very lovely and welcoming. The grounds are lovely to walk around. Nice quiet area. Air conditioning in the rooms. Food is something to be desired as "dietary requirements" were hard to get right but when finally served correctly, was enjoyable. Fresh flowers in the room were a lovely touch!!!

Beautiful setting. Good quality rooms and bargain prices. Swimming pool is a bit run down though. Perfect for Harry Potter tour.

Car park seems fairly small, but I'm nit picking really, as I've had a great stay so far. Room is very clean and quiet, facilities are great and the staff very accomodating.

Went for an afternoon tea with my girlfriend for her birthday, it was prebooked and we specified the dietary requirements as my girlfriend is an 11 year vegetarian and I am allergic to Currants, the food came out, Ham and Tuna sandwiches were served, along with fruit scones and 6 mini puddings, 2 of which packed full of currants.. I did ask if they had any plain scones and they didn't. At least the hot beverages were slightly warm.
