I bought a C43 AMG from Mercedes Giffnock at the end of April. It’s now early June and I can now say I’m happy with the car. It’s now in the state it should have left the garage in a month ago.  Since buying the car it’s been back to the garage 3 times. Twice I was left without a car,  the third time I lost a day off work and I had to cover the costs of returning the car myself.  The service team are letting the side down big time here. Since I’ve flagged the issues the sales team Jamiehas been doing what he can to rectify the issues which is why I’ve given 3 stars.   for sales Jamie for service.  Photos changed to reflect the final state of the car.

I had an amazing experience at Mercedes Giffnock! Lewis and Andy went above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of during the handover of my new car. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly service made the process seamless and enjoyable. Bought a car for my mums 60th. Originally went in for a pre owned car and ending up getting a new one for a really good price. Cameron has been our salesman and has been so helpful and friendly. Sale has been smooth from start to finish. Excellent customer service.  We were bringing my mum to collect it as a surprise and they set up it all up with a cover on and had a bottle of champagne in the passenger seat! Couldn’t recommend more! Thanks Cameron

This review is specifically regarding the service department at the Giffnock location, I cannot speak for the sales department.  My vehicle was in for an inspection of a corroded rear sub-frame which is a well known issue on my model and has been covered under an extended warranty by MB. Despite there being corrosion to the extent where a suspension arm is no longer connected to the sub-frame on one side see pic and being told by service manager Ian Taylor that it’s not safe and should be repaired at my local garage immediately, I was refused warranty as it doesn’t constitute as warrantable corrosion. I have lost a lot of confidence in my car as it now poses a life threatening danger every time I drive and have lost faith in Mercedes-Benz. I understand that it’s an older vehicle, however this is clearly a defective component and is still covered under warranty by MB.  In addition, I was kept waiting despite my car having completed inspection for at least 30 mins and waited 25 mins just to speak with the service manager who was frankly rude, defensive and dismissive and seemed unwilling to understand the severity of the issue. I think the public should be made aware of this safety issue and MB giffnock refusing to warranty repairs. If MB are denying this then I can’t even imagine how many other significantly less severe yet warrantable repairs they are denying. Please beware.

Purchased a car a few years ago and always found staff very professional and courteous.Would not hesitate using this garage again.I called in today regarding glove compartment not closing. Darren spent time discussing options and was very helpful and remedied the situation. Thank you and very much appreciated.

First class attention from MB Giffnock. Not the usual sales pitch. Honest and trustworthy. Very happy with Cameron’s help from start to finish. Giffnock is not my nearest MB salesroom but I’ve made the journey to buy my last two cars from there. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service from Lewis and Steven. I've bought many cars over the years but this is my first Mercedes. Care and attention to detail is excellent. Lewis kept me informed throughout the entire process and was proactive with updates. Customer experience was personal and friendly. I'll certainly be a repeat customer. Highly recommend.

We recently visited Mercedes Benz Giffnock without an appointment and had a marvellous experience. The reception staff were warm, friendly and directed us to Bob to help with our questions. Bob was friendly, knowledgeable and professional he gave us excellent advice and made the process of buying a new car smooth we are delighted with our car.
