Lovely campsite, facilities are great. Steve and Hayley are lovely, friendly and very welcoming. Even with the weather it was a great camping trip! Plain spotting, barbecue, cosy fire, had a great weekend and can’t wait to go back!
Our second visit to this campsite, we really like it here. Super chilled, small but each pitch is actually very large with ample space. The owners pleasant but leave you to it, which is very much our preference. Clean and eco friendly, spot on. There is some air traffic noise but then there would be, as it's so close to the airport and this is not bothersome in my opinion. We'll be back!
Lovely spot we had number 2 pitch was lovely and the planes were a joy to see. Had a lovely fire pit going and Steve and Hayley are lovely and are there for any questions you may have they also give us a polite and warm welcome. It’s was basic campsite but it suited us fab had everything we needed. We stayed at the beginning of October got the last of the sun was late doing this review as u can see. We will definitely be going back there it’s in our top 10 favourite campsites.
A lovely little site with the friendliest of owners! It is close to Bristol Airport so you do get some noise - however the views are stunning and our little boy loved the plane spotting!
Popular site, and not much noise from the nearby Bristol airport. The minor road approaching the site access is narrow and the track up to the site felt narrow in our Autosleeper Amethyst. We had a grass pitch with electric hook up. A motorhome would require leveling ramps We were visiting family nearby who collected us from the site
What a little gem! Hayley could not have been more helpful.. The facilities were basic, however it had everything we needed.. washing up facilities, showers, electric hook up, compost toilet, chemical waste point, and also recycling facilities which often you don’t see on smaller sites these days. Our young children were in their element aeroplane watching, and Felton common being at the end of the campsite was brilliant for everyone including our dog. I would highly recommend this little campsite to anyone looking for a couple of nights away with a very chilled vibe. We will definitely make a return back to this lovely site again one day. Thank you guys very much!
Really nice place. Well kept and the yurt is very comfy and equipped. Things to bare in mind is you are in the flight path of Bristol Airport and there are no views.
Fabulous weekend at this campsite, it is basic but has everything you need! Laid back atmosphere and Steve the owner was both welcoming and helpful. Felton common is literally at the end of the camping field so perfect for walking the dog. I was slightly dubious over the proximity to the airport but the planes were not intrusive. Will definitely go back!
We booked for 2 nights, 2 adults, 2 children. We loved it. Had a great time. Steve and Hayley provided everything we needed. Nice facilities. Even being right next to Bristol airport wasnt a problem as children loved watching the planes right over us. Would recommend to anyone who would like a nice, family friendly site
Excellent campsite. Very friendly owners, Steve was really good in letting me know what to do and when. Campsite has plenty of room and wasnt too busy for us. Price for a pitch / per person is very reasonable. Well kept and level site, made it easy to pitch the tent. Toilet block, while basic, was clean and the shower was good enough. Access is not for the feint hearted or someone with a new sportscar. No issue for any SUV or something similar. Location is pretty good for exploring the area. It is very close to airport so if you're easily disturbed I'd look elsewhere. For us, it was an added bonus as the kids loved the walk through the fen to watch the planes taking off and landing. Great, well kept and cheap campsite in a decent location. I would recommend to anyone looking for a basic campsite.
