Cheddar Caravan and Motorhome Club Site

Lovely site. Lovely wardens. Can't understand family's bringing children there as no amenities for them. A few there this weekend using the road on campsite like a race track on bikes and other ride on things. Very noisy when you want to just relax.

Fairly small site but as with all caravan and motorhome club sites the pitches are well spaced and the site is meticulously maintained. Toilets and showers good. Immediately out of the gate and you are on an excellent dog walk path with options of joining the tarmac path/ cycle path to town (10 min) OR continue ahead on a path (slightly raised to prevent flooding I guess as it's next to a small stream). Dogs can go off lead here too (If no animals in field). The site doesn't have any sort of play area for children but again there is a good one 3 mins out of gate (turn left, under bridge and left along grass path below cycle path and it's just there). You can walk via town to the Gorge in about 20 mins. Cafes and toilets there. Sainsburys 5-10 min walk (towards Town).

Really lovely campsite. Amazing staff and great showers. One downside if you stay in a certain place you can hear loud music, I'm assuming it's the football club but I have very good hearing my husband couldn't hear it that well. Would definitely go back though. A nice little touch to of hiring DVD discs there. Great idea. Overall an amazing site

Good clean and well maintained site. The amenities block is kept very clean and staff are friendly and very helpful. Had a great 3 days there.

Wonderful site and you can even walk to the Gorge without the car. Very clean site will go back again.
