Grumpy and rude owner who seems not to be clear with current trading laws. A few months ago I purchased a compass from here (the most expensive one they did as they had run out of all the others) and upon opening i found it to have a bubble. I took it back immediately for a refund only to be told that i was not eligible for one and had to be reimbursed via a credit note (now illegal practice). I ask that you avoid this shop as shops like this need to be starved of customers until they realise they are doing something wrong...

I cannot imagine what shop the previous reviewer is referring to but it is a good local business with excellent service. When I have been there the staff have always been helpful and informative with my purchases. Recommended.
